QPR 2 - United 2?
I can make out TC, hands on knees, El Tel, Keith Eddy, Geoff Salmons, Tony Field, Phil Parkes the goalie
Blades 1 QPR 1 in April 1974. Eddy (pen). Boro beat Wendy 8-0 that dayQPR 2 - United 2?
Didn't they also concede 8(eight) around the same time at QPR?Blades 1 QPR 1 in April 1974. Eddy (pen). Boro beat Wendy 8-0 that day
TC was recovering from a knee op (he would have missed the World Cup had England qualified). The team that day was Brown, Badger, Hemsley, Eddy, Colquhoun, Flynn, Woodward, Salmons, France, Nicholl, Field. Sub Cammack. Must be Cammack the one hands on knees?I can make out TC, hands on knees, El Tel, Keith Eddy, Geoff Salmons, Tony Field, Phil Parkes the goalie
8-2 in Nov 1973Didn't they also concede 8(eight) around the same time at QPR?

Ha! Me and my mate used to get the no. 17 or 24 bus from London Rd & go fishing (illegally) in that pond. Plenty of trout in there.
I would say that is Gordon Taylor far left, and Mickey Speight far rightLooks like against Birmingham City

I am hazarding a guess that this is the quality goal/quality player from April 1975, probably wrong. Not sure what year this is from.

Could be right. I don't think I've seen it from that angle before.I am hazarding a guess that this is the quality goal/quality player from April 1975, probably wrong.
And 8 again at Newcastle in late 90's .... arf arf .8-2 in Nov 1973
Think last time was at home to Rotherham in December 1956. Lost 7-2And 8 again at Newcastle in late 90's .... arf arf .
I saw us ship 6 at Ayresome Park early Bassett era , and seem to remember conceding 6 at Ewood once upon a time. Are these our heaviest post war defeats ? I can't recall any 7's against us in my time , and certainly not any 8's !!
March 22nd 1975I am hazarding a guess that this is the quality goal/quality player from April 1975, probably wrong.
February 1973. I missed the game as I was in bed with flu. Bob Hatton sent off after fighting with Mick Speight. We lost 1-0Looks like against Birmingham City

Yes and Malcolm Page the number 4Latchford on the left? No 4 on the right standing next to Eddie and therefore sensibly keeping out of it.
