I can make out TC, hands on knees, El Tel, Keith Eddy, Geoff Salmons, Tony Field, Phil Parkes the goalie
TC was recovering from a knee op (he would have missed the World Cup had England qualified). The team that day was Brown, Badger, Hemsley, Eddy, Colquhoun, Flynn, Woodward, Salmons, France, Nicholl, Field. Sub Cammack. Must be Cammack the one hands on knees?

8-2 in Nov 1973
And 8 again at Newcastle in late 90's .... arf arf .

I saw us ship 6 at Ayresome Park early Bassett era , and seem to remember conceding 6 at Ewood once upon a time. Are these our heaviest post war defeats ? I can't recall any 7's against us in my time , and certainly not any 8's !!

Think last time was at home to Rotherham in December 1956. Lost 7-2
