Both scored in the 1-1 draw in October 1967
Those were the days. None of this Freeman nonsense - when the full-back crossed the half-way line, there was unease in the crowd, fearing there would be no cover. I remember one of his goals - a long-range shot towards the Kop in a 3-3 draw, with Swansea, which a defender deflected in. Cec came over the half-way line, and we let 3 in at home! Can anyone remember his other goal for me? He was an outstanding professional, if not the most naturally gifted.
A horse is a horse of course of course...
