Currie, Edwards and Jimmy Johnstone all in the same side - in the First Division is a new one on me.

The photo is taken from the program for 2-1 home defeat to Ipswich Town on the 20th of March 1976, it is a shot of the previous weekends home defeat to Wolves by 4-1 in which Johnstone scored our only goal. The caption to go with the photo reads "The quickness of the foot deceives the eye! Tony Currie goes one way, taking Daly and Carr with him, while Jimmy Johnstone goes the other way........With the ball."
The United team that day was, Brown, Franks, Garner, Flynn, Colquhoun, Bradford, Woodward, Johnstone, Guthrie, Currie, Edwards, substitute was Calvert.

It was indeed, Silent. I think he was York's centre half when his career came to its swift end.
