I'm not entirely convinced it's Broadbent, Hair length and stature, but will run with what you suggest as I haven't a clue mi'sen. Ongoing.

Affirmative, Tango Bravo reference E.J.O. Hemsley. It were t' main reason for posting.
Rest were just in fill, but '61 were a freezing winter with SALOP the coldest part of England whilst I was there Nov/Dec '61.
Photo couldn't have been much before he came to the Lane.
