Thanks for photos, good memories. Bobby Howitt, to my teenage self, very good player, smart , inventive, eye for goal. Photo shows a smiling Tommy Hoyland on right. Other player, partly hidden, looks like Grainger in his Adidas boots, pass on the two pair of legs. Background Bramall Lane shed 'Jubilee Stout'.
Colin Grainger, Thought Derek Hawksworth was no slouch but Colin G. was like lightening, strangely enough both were regular goal scorers but Colin G. was a cut above, in general terms, which shows by his international caps.
B. Barclay, bit before my time, but a three time international so a player of some ability. I knew some one who did see him play, unfortunately I cannot ask them anymore and there'll not be many who can, if any.
 
We all got the free Admiral catalogue from Big Brown Sports next to Challenge! supermarket on Ecclesall Road. I never understood the comment at the foot of the page about raw materials and substituting without affecting quality.

Loved that away kit 2nd only to the 4th division one in my humble opinion.
