Oh for the days when players lived local ,from the 1971 team Badger ,Hockey and Dearden all lived within 500 yards of our house on Bannerdale in 3 bedroom semis.Always wondered where our players lived according to the 1901 and 1911 census, I was a member of Ancestry.com but didn't get around to looking for the addresses of our players. I read somewhere that Billy Cook (1915 and 1925 FA Cup final) lived in Hebburn when he was a SUFC player but moved to Sheffield after he had retired as a player!

I think the Club should invest in an animation to do this all over again on the Big ScreenYes, losing at Luton Town but the final score was 2-2.
B white indicator was Carlisle v Norwich as Carlisle were one of our rivals for the two promotion spots. Cardiff (who were on the same points as us in the morning but they had a game in hand over us) v Watford were N red indicator and late in the match there were whoops of cheers in the ground when the scoreboard man indicated that Watford had scored a late goal (they won 1-0 in the end) and it was a great boost for our promotion chances. There were updates for other games such as Hull v Orient and Sunderland v Leicester
Now that's how to deal with a cross - bare hands so you can feel the ball properly, eyes fully focussed on the ball, and right leg raised to make sure that if the forward clatters into you, he comes off worse...
