Yes, that's why I said "assuming he gets his three confirmed targets".
We know for sure that he is trying to sign these players.
If he doesn't sign them, he will sign similar alternatives for their positions.
If I had pencilled Messi and Ronaldo in as potential new signings it would be bit too presumptuous.
I don't think the squad we start with will be too far off the above.

I am stil hoping that there are a couple of first choice signings coming in to add to those lists.

I dunno....I have a feeling Samir could be a player this season.
I just think he will have been given a strict summer fitness programme and will be the fittest he's ever been. He has a lot to offer in terms of ability, and if you add fitness and unlimited running to that we could see something special.
It will take strong character and determination....let's hope he's got it.

I see the team being selected from any of the players you have mentioned. Whereas we clearly had a stand out strongest team, I see next season being very different and we will be much stronger in depth. The aim being for the players to play the very intense high press and fast attacking game which is difficult to maintain over the number of games we play.
I don't see many players making more than 30 starts over the season, I think we will see a higher turnover of players, particularly in midfield and up front.

What? Sharp is in every single line-up. It's the supporting role which is moving about - Clarke, Brooks and Donaldson equally in the mix (I'd go for Donaldson, FWIW).
