Perhaps now we can all see where the Oxford fans animosity towards CW emanates from . A great start to his tenure is quickly followed by a season that was ok but could and should have been much better .

But it's as his tenure becomes longer that the real problems begin . CW was slaughtered for trying the same tactics and same line ups despite the fact that everyone could see it wasn't working . Many accused him of being stubborn to the point of it damaging the club because of his deep seated managerial philosophy, it's his way or no way regardless of the fact it's clearly not working .

Thanks for the memories Chris but it's time to step aside . Don't kill the Club you claim to love .

Your career as a WUM hasn’t really taken off, has it?

Armchair pundits, doncha just love 'em?

Funny how such cynicism only rears it's head after a couple (yes, that's all!) of other 'notables' state that Wilder is the root cause of our 'decline'.
The suggestion that last season was a failure is more a reflection of the bizarre expectations the OP might have than any other realistic assessment of the teams progress.

Might be an idea for the two or three on here who imagine one poor result to be the end of Wilder's reign to get together and plan a written assault over several months. I mean, surely their 'talents' are wasted otherwise. We're about to see a continual dig at Wilder, you've been warned.

I wouldn't mind if we hadn't done so well since Wilder was appointed, but for fuck's sake, calm down, if what was witnessed yesterday were to continue then there might be merit in such hostility towards Wilder, but after one game? You mentioned this was a trend since last season, funny how so few of this minority failed to pipe up before yesterday.

I wanted to give the OP a like for sheer audacity, but then didn’t want people to think I agreed with the ludicrous sentiment of the post.

Still pissed ?
That's the only feasible reason for this post.
