Listening to a lot of the signings, they all come across very well and intelligent.

It does seem Selles (as previously mentioned) has a type.

You see it at all levels, clever footballers and ones that will put there body on the line.

It will be interesting to see if he gets the balance right, because you want intelligent players that can think while playing, but you need a strong few that will do the dirty stuff so as a team, you dont get bullied.

One thing i have noticed in early games, we seem light weight and easy to get the ball off.

Hopefully a couple of the signings show a bit of physical strength and power as well as being intelligent footballers.

I kept reading that hes injured so good to hear him say he has had a full preseason etc.

Shame he isn't about next couple of weeks to engage with the squad but a good reason to follow the international fixtures!

I liked how the bit on the OS went out of its way to say he'd fully recovered from the injury and made recent appearances for Ipswich.

Yeah, definitely made it sound as though from a physical point of view he is ready to be involved.

Just fingers crossed he doesn't get injured on international duty if he plays.

Ogbene has been one of our few bright lights on our international team over the last few years (we may be getting a little bit better now, hopefully), great pace but also a very skillful player too, he doesn't just rely on his pace and is infectiously enthusiastic.

I'm really happy that he's signed, just hope he's fully recovered from that nasty injury.

I remember watching him play for Cork City, that team was also in crisis at the time and Ogbene stood out when he got his chance towards the end of a disastrous season. He ended up leaving and going to Limerick (of all places) and he took off from there!

He'll be involved tonight for lreland, probably as a sub.
