Preston fan so probably a hint of bias but don’t think we’ll be far from the playoffs if not in them. Think you lot will improve slightly on last too.

Can't be bothered with the whole thing but briefly, I see 6or7 teams stronger than we are right now, and 3 teams weaker than the piglets. In 2 weeks time I expect all that to change.

Stoke, West Brom, Boro to go up. United 14th. Wednesday 16th. Bolton, Rotherham, Ipswich to go down
Pretty much as I’d have it (as the squads stand) but I think Reading might be in danger instead of Bolton. Obviously Ipswich might be affected by the sale of a particular striker that is being watched !!

Wtf, pork talk inspired? We do it every year ffs, nowt about them porcine rust bucket dwellers inspires me.

I'm out

Yep, stupid and offensive to put that in the O/P, so I'm saving my prediction for the next thread (and for when all business is done).

A few things to consider about the "favourites":

Derby will be thereabouts but bottle it as they usually do on the run-in
Forest have spent a load of money as usual and will struggle as usual
Boro' will bore everyone stupid including themselves and falter
Villa have shot their bolt and will fade a little further before recovering in a season or two
Leeds are a busted flush and should stick to rugby league
Forget about the Brentfords and Norwichs of the league, they flatter to deceive every season

This leaves us with:

1. Stoke
2. Brum (massive dark horses this season)
3. WBA
4. The Mighty Blades
5. Bristol City
6. Derby
---------------
22. Pigs
23. Hull
24. Bolton

Rotherham will miraculously avoid the drop by 1 point after they hire Warnock with 12 games to go when he's fired from Cardiff.
