Just seen Shields tweet that Adams, Reed, Edgar and McFadzean have all been called up to represent their countries next week? Any word on whether the Colchester game will be off?

We will get a result regardless as win, lose and draw are all possible outcomes of a football match.

We'll presumably have five out – unless of course De Girolamo has been deemed no longer worthy of a squad place.

I'd like to see it go ahead regardless. We've got a big squad, we should go into it confident, Adkins is expecting Flynn and Kennedy to start on Tuesday – they offer extra options to replace Adams/Edgar in this instance.

Hopefully it's just good management in a "just in case" situation and we fail to bring any of our targets in between now and end of the window. We'd look bloody stupid if we failed to bring anyone in AND be short of players for the Colchester game.
