He was a brilliant signing and his contribution in that first season in the Prem when we finished 9th should not be underestimated.
However, he was one of the players, along with Enda, who came back after lockdown a shadow of his former self. Admittedly he was never blessed with pace, but post lockdown, it was like he was running in treacle and if he took a second touch, it was invariably a tackle.
Great to see him doing well for Stockport.

Unappreciated top player for us,him and Kevin McDonald were excellent passes of a ball. We can’t pass wind at present.

I maintain that is probably the best I've seen a United team play live. We could have had 6 or 7 that day and we clearly took the foot off the gas after scoring the 4th early in the 2nd half. They had a really good side too.
