It seems the players and management wish to settle for mid-table mediocrity. Playoffs were always going to be a push, but it's not Blade like to give half arsed performances like this even though they are out of reach. The Wilder of old would not stand for this. We should expect the strongest end to the season, not some lacklustre garbage like the second half.

What makes this weak collapse inexcusable is the January signings, specifically Phillips

It reflects very badly on Wilder to make an expensive personal indulgence signing like that when top 6 was already unlikely, Riedewald was back in 3 weeks, and we were capable of collapsing regardless

If we were going to commit in January like this, when we could have very comfortably survived without a single signing, then we needed to at least take it to the last few games of the season

But now we've collapsed so meekly, and so early, Wilder has put a lot of scrutiny and pressure on himself

This is Wilders mindset and negative game plan, if indeed he has one. What the F is he doing or saying at HT or have they stopped listening to him?

Said before that 2016-20 Wilder was incredible but version 2 and now 3 are a million miles from it. He knows it and we can all see it too.

We're going nowhere with him. I note that he's again rolling out the same lines about a strong end to the season and next will be 100% better. Cliché Chris in full flow but can't back it up on the pitch, and from the man who bought Cannon and Hoever and can't get his players fit.

He's damaging his legacy now because his ego can't let go of being the boss of 'his' club no matter the cost to 'our' club.

O'hare is never a left winger, zero help defensively and just runs into the right back every time

You know how terrible they are when Adam Davies kept it to a respectable score, no bottle or spine between them

Cannon and Campbell apparently "pressing" Norwich at the back but neither ever looks like they can really be bothered and are just going through the motions. Cannon never looks any good and Campbell is unfit/overweight and is not the player he was last season. I hope we dint offer him another contract. We desperately need some strikers.

The playoffs are now over. I won't be getting a season ticket next season. I am not going to waste my money on watching every game.

Did his job saved us from relegation but with this team we should have been contenders. His decision making is questionable though and we need to say thank you and move on.

I don’t blame him too much for this season. Die was cast sacking him and replacing him with selles. Shit pre season and unfit players who can’t last a game - some awful signings he inherited - matos, mcguiness, ogbene, Barry, and losing Moore, not re-signing mcburnie. Never understood why we bought Ings either !
He has had to best what he got. Don’t get me wrong he’s also signed some shit but at least he bought in some players in position that we desperate for in bamford and rideweld - both of whom were not fit when we got them so no complaints.
I think the players know playoffs out of reach weeks ago and so along either some players only lasting 60 mins we never look like we can get 100% up for it when backs against the wall in games
I think playoff final and selles taken far more out of players than we realise.
Time for a big clear out - and need to quickly decide who is up for next season and play them in their natural positions

I’m watching the Norwich players doing the fist pump claps to their fans - it’s so sad for a meaningless win (which they deserved) why are the fans so sycophantic? You’d think they’d won the league or the fa cup.
Don’t get me wrong it seems to be something all teams do after a win and even when we do it I think it’s pathetic and contrived…. Just a sign im getting old I guess
