My Linfield supporting friend from school lived in Ballycrochan Road. I stayed over at his parents house in Easter 1983. My friend has been living in London since 1984 and until recently he was a Charlton season ticket holderWas just wondering how many Blades fans on the forum if any live in NI and travel over for games
FTG.....COYBI travel over about a minimum of 5 or 6 times per season. Otherwise I'm at the oval watching the Glens![]()

Can u get there and back in 1 day gtcFly from Belfast international to Liverpool. Flight times are more suitable although it means hiring a car.
That right chum same problemDepends. However, I usually stay over and fly back on the Sunday. Makes for an expensive weekend but is the only option sometimes.
Which way does he fly overCliftonville is the team of my colleague Connor McMarty from West Belfast.
Aer Lingus fly into Donnie , used to go that way when Ryanair flew that route .I just thought that being part of the UK they would fly between!??
I normally fly Dublin to Manchester , straight out of T3 walk 10 mins max , ( unless Manx Blade picks us up, still owe ya a pint for last time .)That right chum same problem

to railway station , £28 day return , normally 5 to every hour , 1 hour 10 minutes later back in Sheffield .
So if I get 6.30 flight in Sheffield by 10.30 latest .
Normally get last flight back 10.30 , back in D10 by 12.30 ,a long but wonderful day , once we win .
Try to avoid , when either Manx team play as Ryanair hike the prices big time .
I don't think I'll be going over before Christmas , holiday next month , new Job this week .
Irish Blades have a Facebook page , think there's close to 60 on it .
Flew into east midland airport a few times , not a bad trip , bus right outside airport , dropped off at Derby railway station , not a hard trip to do .
Better believe it Walthy , down to a fucking tee , comes with missing trains ( just ) , and losing 2 hours suppin time before the match .
Nice to see you had a good trip GTC , just pity you lost time with car rental crowd mate .I usually travel with my wee lad or bring a few non blades supporting mates for the weekend. We were over on Saturday and really enjoyed it. If I had known that boro tickets would have made it to general release I would have booked for this weekend as well. It got too expensive now.
7.30 land and get off plane .
