The other issue is that we have sold trusty so we know there is money there. When we have sold the likes of Bogle and Osula the money was used and spent well. Selling trusty and not doing the same is a concern

To be honest if you’d told me we’d keep Hamer & Anel & the arrival of Cooper, O’Hare, Moore and Souttar at the start of this window ….id have been happy. Burrows & Gilchrist are also decent. If you were an investment company buying a club what would you do?

Option A
Invest very little, not challenge for promotion and gradually lose more and more money every year.
I've even seen some Blades say someone wants to take us over to put us in league 1.
So they seriously think someone is taking us over because they want to lose millions and millions every single year.

Option B
Invest money, give them a great/ realistic chance of promotion, bring in the PL millions
then either sell up at a profit or keep investing to enable the club to remain in the Premier league.

I know it's a difficult choice but if I was an investor I'd go for option B.
Hence why it's common sense the club will be very confident more players (especially a striker) are coming in.
Also they will have been prepared weeks ago that Cannon might not happen, so they'll have 2 or 3 more striker options as backup up.

Whats your prediction between now and window close later ?

Allegedly getting 6 million for him, that's 5 million to much. We couldn't possibly turn that offer down. GLTTL but he was never good enough for us, opens up the door for one of the youngsters to push for the first team.

The only place we are better in is our defence and in the goalkeeping department.

I like Souttar and Burrows but apart from that our defence is bang average.

Not a good end to the window it seems like all of our competitors have done good business in the last day or so . I don’t know what to believe is this take over ever going to happen or just a rouse to keep the fans quiet. Is the prince just extracting as much as dare from United .
If we have been taken over are the new owners doing exactly the same , without any pretence that they’re going to invest. I thought the ownership test were meant to stop this sought of thing. Very depressing hopefully a glorious win at the weekend will lift my mood. Another Wednesday humiliation would help

We have to go for it this season. I’ve seen a couple of ‘let’s just build slowly and enjoy a couple of years not going up, and then get promoted’ like you can choose. Fuck that. Each year that passes the budget drops and decisions are based on that - see Leeds.

I think the club were banking on Souza and Anel leaving. Now they haven’t we need to balance the books and we’ve done that by letting Slimane and trusty leave, neither who was in the first 11.

Meaning we keep Anel, Souza, Hamer and Blaster who all improve the first 11.

I’m ok with that.

They weren't expecting £10 million rising to £15 million potentially for Osula either.
Slimane, Bogle, Trusty and Osula more than balances the books
