i think we will be looking at 16-18k, at first maybe novelty value then maybe if we win a few back to around 20k, but even 14k is better than some even in prem :)
and remember we aren't the "massive" club.

"16k-18k" maybe even "20k" !! Optimistic that. I reckon around 12k-14k. If we do well might get to 16k.

it'all be tied up with how many season tickets we get, given that season ticket holders are automatically included with the attendance figures.

I think official attendances will be hovering around the 16k mark, but actual attendances could well be as low as 13-14

15k and anything better is just wishful thinking.

If we do well 18k, if we are top 20k+, if we struggle 15k......but we''ll get far more than most teams at that level, however we do. I'm more concerned about the team being up for it than the fans.

If the promise/threat of increased matchday prices and revoked discounted tickets is carried through, I reckon the average attendance will be around a dozen above the number of ST's sold.

If we go straight back up average attendance will be higher than this season's. Other season's when we've bounced back - 81-82 and 88-89 - saw increased crowds. Can't see any reason why next season should be any different if it results in promotion.

Whether we go up or not we'll still take more to away games than the pigs.... FACT

At the start of the season probably around 17-18,000. If we do well they'll probably climb a bit to around 20,000. If we do badly, they'll drop to 13,000 ish.

The days of big increases in attendance when you have a good run of results are gone, especially if the club really is serious about the matchday price proposals.

Sure we'll get the odd decent gate if there is a big away following or if we are at home first, last day of season etc and if we do some offfers.

But Raul is right - ST sales are going to be pretty much everything. Fluctuations in results don't equal big fluctuations in attendances like they used to years ago.

But I wouldn't lose any sleep over it. The club has given up on trying to hold on to and/or increase its support. It doesn't see it as an important enough issue to address with passion and innovation so maybe we shouldn't bother about it either.
