If Chris has gone then he’s gone and all the best to the guy / he should have been given the opportunity next year and with a DOF (imo) to help him ,as his transfers in-have been very very poor . Also his expectations of wages we could offer seem to be unrealistic as have his targets in the first place - who would always attract better offers from other clubs and subsequently have .

The next appointment will say it all really - someone like Lampard ? Well he will want money to spend - as well as keep the best players we have - as will any ‘name’ man - Howe etc .

If we end up with some lower league name then we know we are totally screwed as this will demonstrate we don’t have a pot to piss in and we will embark on a firesale .

If we end up with the former then the future on all fronts looks brighter .

With regards to the owner/board, a commitment to build new training facilities will also say it all.
