I would take 6 points now (D, W, D, D). But I think we'll sneak another win somewhere with a bit of luck for a change with a dodgy penalty or an own goal. So I'll say 8 points with 5 goals for and 2 against........not going to get too exciting for a while I don't think, more a case of grinding some results.
None of those games look easy now though after the start we have had.

Its nice to see the optimism back! I don't want to necessarily burst the bubble but the new signing as positive as they may be, will need time to gel.

Hope I'm wrong and just their presence gives that much needed injection of arse in the squad.

New players are what we have asked and our squad should change for better like water turns into wine. 1st opponent is lowest (of these 4) in table and our new players want to shine, so it's Win.

First win will of course boost the whole team and drive players to work more and that secures our 2nd Win next game.

Away game might be harder, but some drive secures us atleast a point.

In 4th game Bramall Lane is again full and home supporters will sign victory songs and praises to the team after they score handful of goals and secure our 3rd Win with ease.

I’ve a feeling Preston are a tough Championship team. Didn’t they just miss out on the play off’s last season ? I didn’t take much notice of the top end of the division last year, just the bottom where the scum bags were positioned.

I was speaking to my mate who is a Huddersfield fan today and he was having a bit of a laugh at how they beat the Blades when they themselves are absolutely shocking. They have no money as they have had to pay the Director loans which was £100 million so now they are skint and he cant believe where they are in the table.

And we still have all the youngsters to throw into the mix and enda back soon and JOC at some point hopefully (not heard much about him though)

I hope SJ has used the international break to perform a hard reset.

I also hope he used the first games as a mini pre-season.

He’s now had chance to assess which players he can rely on which tactics/formations he wants to go with.

I will watch with interest which starting 11 he goes with for Peterborough and the tactics deployed. I think this will tell us a lot about what to expect for the season.

For me every new signing should start at the expense of whomever he decides to drop as non have done enough.

I would also have a few youngsters in the match day squad to freshen things up further.

He needs to make a statement in terms of team selection, tactics and performance that shows the players who’s the boss and reassures the fans he’s taking no prisoners.

I am not ITK on this but we definitely need to win some football matches……

In all honestly, I would take 7 points. I think we are going to struggle until late October. Fingers crossed by then Slav has his style of play drilled in to the team and we can start looking like a football team again.
