WHICH MANAGER

Not sure I understand the obsession with Crewe and their manager. They are 14th in an abysmal division. Yes, they outplayed us at the Lane but so did Hartlepool.....

Just looked at Odds-checker and Les Ferdinand is now favourite with Victors

Which of the following STDs would you prefer:

Syphillis

Gonnorhea

Herpes

Chlamydia

Genital Warts

Hepatitis B

Remember, this is a public poll. Your vote will be visible for others to see, even if your chosen disease is not.

You haven’t let em pick a dose of hoof?

The late 90's called, they want their managerial candidate back.

Still think he is worth a shout and he was interested in the Wolves job when it was available. Perhaps been out the game too long to go back now.

Derek Adams of Ross County is apparently on the shortlist of a few Championship/League One clubs.

Has done wonders with County however it remains to be seen how he would do out of his comfort zone.

Ambitious young Manager though and works well within very tight budgets.

I'd be surprised if McCall came. He's just signed a new contract with Motherwell and taken a place in the Scotland set up, something I imagine he would need to give up if he took the Blades job.

the odds are no reflection. people have an illusion that bookies take massive bets, the reality couldnt be further away from that. go on to the site, bet £2 on a 33/1 shot...and he will be 2/1 within an hour. bookies are a bunch of jokers.

out of those id pick martin allen, he would seem a bizarre choice but hes just won the league and he obviously wont take any shit off players. but owen coyle would be my choice.

wally downes, i wouldnt let anywhere near the club. mccall wouldnt work, itd be adrian heath all over again. phil parkinson may work, not sure. never heard of this chris morgan bloke, he sounds like a solicitor.

Who in their right mind would want to take on this poisoned chalice with ol' Cash-Flow McCabe jerkin' yer chain every week?

somebody who doesnt know what a cnut he is? they may get in the job and get pretty fecked off rather quickly mind. though its unlikely mcliar would even go for someone with his own set of testicles.

best bet is to get an experienced manager just to get us out of this bloody league a Billy Davis/Warnock manager, one that wont take any shit and are decent man managers, then we can look at a decent manager when we are out of League 1

Just had a chat with Steve Davis down in the Winter Gardens - says he's not interested in the United job.

I then got a hug off a very pissed Wendy fan who told me he's got money on United to go up; presumably he was pissed when he visited the bookies. I told him he'd got more faith in them than I had.

Every effort should be made to get Owen Coyle.

I'd prefer Eoin Coyle, the ex-Burnley manager!

Seriously though, Coyle would get my vote at the moment; not with any great enthusiasm mind, but just look at the alternatives!

I did indeed. It was the Second Division, which was of course the 3rd tier in those days.

All this division name inflation is annoying. The 3rd Division being called "League One"? I mean?

I await the premier league becoming the Super Premier League, the Second Tier becoming the Premier League and our league becoming Premiership 2....

Don't you mean Premiership, too?

;)

God help us if that lot is the shortlist, says it all when they make McCall (who failed miserably at Bradford in league two) look good. FFS surely we can attract better quality that these losers.
Anyone got Brian the Blade's phone number ?

Not Owen Coyle.

He can talk the hind legs off a donkey. Which means we will have no players with legs left o_O .

Terrible option.

Aye, i can just see Stuart McCall giving up Champions League football next season for a stint in League 1.

Why? He has proper football principles. His Burnley team beat and outclassed our lot three times in one season. I know. I was there for all three.

Come on Pinchy. He is an awful character. Just goes on and on and on. Talking so fast and saying nothing.

He did well at Burnley but didn't last long at Bolton and has not had a job since.

I wager he has been to lots of interviews for jobs since then, but has not yet found employment.

Why? - because he just gets on yer nerves. If I was stuck in a lift with him I would go mad.

Please. No thank you.
