Yep, sorry, I'm confusing him with Cannon. So easy to get these carthorses mixed up- cheers mate
We sign a 6ft 5in centre forward in Moore and play a style that hardly puts a cross in to tbe box. We sign Cannon who had scored 10 goals before Xmas for s Stoke side struggling in the relegation part of the table and he gets just 1 for us since January. I thought Moore was a decent signing and would do well for us but he didn't. Cannon was a bit part player but not sure what his strength was. Both these players were either misused or just not good enough. Let's face it, no one knew what our best team would be from one performance to the next.

Mardy, love, y fronts, night night. 😄

Are you sure you were a commercial powerhouse? The cliches dont really fit a man of that calibre. Grow up you silly old duffer. This isn’t Teenage Facebook
If you are resorting to insults, keyboard foreskin shuffler, you are lowering your self even further, then feel free I've been abused by experts and I doubt if you are one of them. I don't profess to be a commercial powerhouse I left school at 16, no qualifications and worked my arse of to get where I did for 49 years. Some people do manage to work all their life instead of sponging. Now, comfortably retired for 6 years so I don't require a CV as you comment. Never did need a CV as you would know, as very often they contain a load of shit. Been a Blade for 63 years and like many others I want a professionally, forward thinking football club which is looking less likely day by day, should I give a f*** well actually I do.

Osula will go out on loan but Newcastle will choose a club that has first class coaches in the striker department.

Our track record in developing Brewster, Moore and now it seems Cannon will leave us somewhere short of their top ten.

I’d guess the experts had good reason.

Seems a Ex international Ex Blade is not been mentioned yet the likes of O'Neil seem to be floated Ladies & Gentlemen I present to you for your perusal ROBERT THE TAFF PAGE 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Could it be that you are a reactionary who is so terrified of life without Wilder that you refuse to countenance anything else
Or could it be that you are so pissed off with life WITH Wilder that you ate prepared to countenance anything else?

Well that's good - Osula was miles off when he was here, so we don't need to be gambling on a turnaround in order to develop Newcastle players.

Assuming Wilder's dust - what's the club's expectations of the new coach next season? (Promotion and nothing less, top6 minimum but act with a little more dignity please, ... ?).

Im no Wilder devotee, but I'm very uneasy about someone earning the sack by getting (only) 89 points. At the very worst it was a par season considering our budget.

We sold a brilliant young striker for £9m and Wilder bought a bit of a carthorse for £10m. Spin it however you like vis a vis, as to what the overall squad strategem was. Thems the facts. Those facts hurt us and cost us.
Don't believe everything you read on Transfermarkt. It's run by a load of Germans from their bedrooms and one of its faults is that they convert their estimated fees into Euros at the time of the transfer and then back again when you visit the site.

We sold Osula for at least £10m. I have a feeling it was more because they had two or three bids rejected. He's also played and scored in the Premier League which would probably have triggered at least one of the variables.

We bought Cannon for a fee "rising to £10m". I suspect we would have needed to be promoted and for him to have been successful in that hypothetical post-promotion season for the fee to every get near £10m. While it's still not cheap, I'd guess that we've paid £7m for Cannon at this stage.

Why? I know nowt in DoF matters, Bristol fans appear to hate him.

Why would you like him as DoF, genuine question.
Only mentioned this as I thought it was progression in removing wilder. I was unaware of the view from Bristol City fans so thank you for making me aware.

It's crazy that literally everything the new board are being criticised for potentially doing was done by The Prince. Lost money on poor players from abroad with the United World experiment, went behind Heckys back to get Wilder that led to months of speculation and obviously fell out with Wilder which ended with him leaving.
name a club that hasnt bought a disappointing player. who didnt warrant a fee

ill give you 6 months

More accurate transfer fees on the FIFA computer game.

It’s Linfield manager, David Healy!! Completely gobsmacked.

Still will give him a chance. WATP 🇬🇧
