Guys got some balls
Spot on. He and Danny Hall are totally clouded to the real picture through their obsession with " can do no wrong" wilder !Go away u Dinosaur, what an absolutely stupid post… no context or anything, just his opinion on who knows what…

Whoooooo remembers United World

From PA’s opinions to Nixon’s. Still no original thought as expected .
Wilder gone I've heard, Gary O'Neill arriving next week, he's had talks over the weekend
Maybe talks are ongoing and it hasn’t been decided yet. With the thousands of members on this forum, surely someone must know someone, who knows somebody who can give an indication if he's staying or going?
Just looking at those Wolves stats during Gary's final season in the Prem. Those figures would have been a pipe dream for us during our last season in the PremHe has such a good record does Gary!
Bournemouth:
Wolverhampton Wanderers:
- 2022/23: Appointed as head coach, guiding the team to Premier League safety, finishing 15th.
- June 2023: Sacked by Bournemouth.
- 2023/24: Started the season as manager, leading Wolves to a 14th-place finish.
- 2024/25: A poor run of form, including 11 losses in 16 matches, resulted in his dismissal on December 15, 2024.
- Record at Wolves: 20 wins, 11 draws, and 32 losses in all competitions (53 Premier League games with 15 wins, 10 draws, and 27 defeats).
- Wolves' position at dismissal: Second-from-bottom with nine points.
Yep, in the new AI-led world everyone over 50 is a 'dinosaur' and therefore we can dismiss their opinion.Go away u Dinosaur, what an absolutely stupid post… no context or anything, just his opinion on who knows what…
Still, at least he's only 42, doesn't celebrate too much after goals and doesn't drink with the fans, and he dresses sharp. He's not from Sheffield either, and knows nothing about the club which is another plus. With Gazza and AI we'll walk the league. Got to be better than what we have now, right? He has such a good record does Gary!

That’s very true, regardless of who has been manager or who has been in the boardroomHistory tells us Sheffield United and planning aren't usually compatible

In my lifetime Wilder is without any doubt in my mind historically the best manager we have had. I have deliberately used the word historic because times and other elements change. For example, Deano is the best striker for me, but he’d not be up to it now.Totally disagree. Wilder is the best Blades manager of my lifetime. Sure he has his faults but he's only human. He's given us our pride back. He still gets results. He's built this squad and knows the players. He's nothing like Megson results and performance-wise
Rolling the dice at this stage, getting a new manager in who will probably want a new backroom staff and new players, seems like backward thinking when we already have the best-performing manager in the Championship on a three year contract.
We might as well keep Wilder than take that option mateI've said my bit like most have now and I want Wilder to stay. If he does go though I'd definitely have Dave Challinor from Stockport high up on the list. His record is very impressive. He'll know the efl well obviously and has a proven record of success.
I’m going to get shot down for this but out of those my first choice would be Selles. I see potential in himGiven some of the names that have been mentioned in the last few days (mainly by fans), would prefer them in this order.
1) Sean Dyche - most experienced with 2 promotions and several PL seasons under his belt, albeit playing what is considered to be boring football, but it is successful.
2) Steve Cooper - now working with the FA, not sure if he'll come back to the championship but still a good shout.
3) Gary O'Neill - probably the least experienced but seen a few people on here suggesting that he's a favourite with the owners, he did keep Bournemouth and Wolves in the PL at least.
4) Ruben Selles - seems to be an outside favourite, harshly let go by Hull but did a very good job at Reading under the circumstances, would be a punt.
Wilder sacked
I’m saying they are completely wrong, unless laney is wilder or one of the coaching staff.I'm not saying you are wrong but how do you know he didn't cut it in training, I thought the general feeling was his lack of 90 minutes playing time for some months, if that is correct we should have probably brought someone else in

Interesting article. I’ve never heard of any of them to be honest but they each look to have a bit about them![]()
5 European managers that Sheffield United's new owners may look at to replace Chris Wilder
Sheffield United could look to Europe for their next head coach if Chris Wilder leaves this summer.footballleagueworld.co.uk
Interesting article on potential overseas coaches that the club may consider. For any of these to work off field structure needs to be overhauled with Sporting Director in situ. If as reported the owners are looking to extend AI beyond recruitment and into medical services such as conditioning and physio then that is progress imo.
My preferred choice at this moment in time would be Alexander Blessin with Will Still a close second although Southampton look to have nicked him.
