Steven Rosen says the team squad is capable of a play off finish. Has that been set for you? If not has a more realistic target of avoiding relegation been handed down in view of the clubs financial restructuring. How often are performance targets reviewed with you?

I don’t like managerial change but I do find these questions hitting me:

1. Given we seemed wedded to 4-2-3-1 throughout the pre-season, how come we left ourselves with only one real number 10 on transfer deadline day? And then also lost him? What was Plan B if O’Hare had gotten injured anyway?

2. Any reason we didn’t make more proactive moves to find a replacement for Gus Hamer or were we so incredibly deluded that we thought we’d be retaining him and his 40 grand a week wages post parachute payments?

3. Did we plan to have 6 defensive midfielders or was this a happy coincidence? And given the lack of finances so we feel that Choudhury as a right back, Ayew as a ten minute man and Doherty have been a good use of about 4m quid. 5m quid if you throw in BBD.

4. Given we were limited to potentially fees and loans why did we dismiss all potential foreign signings as well thus diminishing our options even further? By doing so did we really need both Jamie Hoyland and Mike Allen or did one come with the password to the PC and the other with the log in details to transfermarkt.com?

5. Given you made a big deal of getting through to the international break, why did we return after three weeks, playing the exact same 4-4-2 that everybody hated before the break?
