Don' know why they don't let players wear what they want, like when I was a kid playing in the park. Didn't stop me picking out my mates with a well placed toe-ender. And it didn't stop many from going on to a successful career in the Sheffield Cleansing Department.
On a more serious note, even if we got the shirt most would want, it would only change next season to another shit shirt. Such is the need to generate new sales. The shirt isn't part of the club's identity like it used to be.
