Been our best player since he came into the side. Crazy how assured and mature he looks and also comforting that a flair player such as this is also so hardworking and not scared to take on defensive duties.

Unless we drastically improve, he won’t be here long.

Get it done now or regret it later when we accept the peanuts offered. Four or five year deal with no buy out clause. Nuff said really. This might be the last chance the club gets.

At times yesterday he was the only one who was not stealing a wage , it won't be long before he gets fed up of playing with our pile of dead wood.
We need to do a Dave Bassett 1988 , pile all the dead wood on a bonfire and burn the lot.
Replace it with some players who have some basic skills and give a shit.
Wtf was Enda doing when they scored ? He ran straight past the scorer like a schoolboy defender.
And thank God we didn't buy Davies he is so weak and powder puff.
Moose is just a complete joke , waving like a fanny to come off the pitch after his 60 mins , if you don't want to play football just feck off away from the Lane.
He has no respect for the shirt , I remember when players had to be dragged off to be substituted such was their desire to stay on for the cause.
Even John Egan , normally a battler , was way off the pace.
There is a bad smell in this squad and we are heading for the trapdoor unless we get some players taking their duties seriously.
If they don't , you can kiss goodbye to the likes of Ndiaye and with him any kind of improvement

His natural ability is stunning. He will be a prem team target already now he is getting visible game time.

People forget how much pressure has been thrust upon him since he started against Peterborough and he has handled it extremely well. It's not just his sublime dribbling, skill and technique that I enjoy but his workrate to retain possession means he earns the right to play how he does.

The contrast to that is Berge who hasn't grasped it anywhere near as good as IN has.

Superb footballer, a joy to watch.

Him and MGW give a shit, they've got bundles of ability but they run and tackle and genuinely give a shit about what's happening. 1 is from wolves the other has played 10 games. Most of the others seasoned pros should be ashamed of themselves how these 2 are showing them up.

Some of the best feet I've ever seen in a United shirt, especially in tight areas.
Easily the best thing about this season already.

Well said ! I'm writing this whilst watching Che Adams score the winner away from home yet again

Agreed, I've been very impressed with their work rate and commitment. Gibbs-White seems to get himself almost too het up, at times! It certainly beats James Wilson and Ben Woodburn swanning through games, contributing nothing.

Ndiaye was brilliant last weekend, for a kid he absolutely bullied the Barnsley lad, Styles.

And on the other hand, some lady on the south stand saying Oliver Deadwood gave the fans a two fingered salute again. Anyone else see this?
Btw if Ndaiye is the level we have coming through, perhaps it's time to take the brake off the others like loparta?

Ndiaye is seriously impressive for a lad with the limited amount of experience he has had, very calm on the ball, pacey, confident at trying to beat a player but by far his best trait his tenacity to win the ball and surprisingly good at hold up play despite his small frame.

The improvement needed at the moment is his decision making and making sure his brain is as quick as his feet.

No one ready or I think SJ would bring them in.
Ndiah has been knocking on the door for at least a year Wilder had him training with the 1st team that tells you a lot.
He didn't sign a new deal and he was left out obviously due to this.Heckingbottom gave him a chance and then he disappeared,
(1st team players and his team mates in the development squads) ,
Were commenting about him being a stand out player
SJ recognised this probably prompted by Heckingbottom,
He fell through the net of the London clubs thankfully for us.
Maybe the thinking was he's a big time Charlie having watched videos of him juggling the ball ( most jugglers can't really play the game ! he can !).
We have some good talent coming through some are out on loan ,the gap between academy level and what we need is big so making is not easy.
Ndiah had the self beleaf to keep going even though clubs didn't think he's got it
We have seen he has !Will be fascinating how he developes.

Shame that he missed his two chances to score. He also has a tendency to try and beat too many rather than one or two and then pass.
However he is a talent and with the right coaching and more experience will be a quality Championship player. Whether he can go higher we have yet to see.

He's our best player in and out of possession which says it all really. The only competition for the former is MGW. There is no competition for the latter title. Being a football club's best player out of possession at 21 should be a cause of considerable embarrassment for the rest of the squad.

Davies was targeted for Wilder's back three for several reasons I'd suggest: his quality vertical passes that can get you up the pitch quicker allowing you to play out from the goalkeeper and through the thirds - rendering the opponent's high press redundant. His ability to read the game and sweep up behind dominant defensive partners. His relative pace compare to most left centre backs. He never had the skill set to play in a four next to Egan, although I have to point out the very limited protection they both get from Norwood or Fleck.
If you play four at the back you need different attributes: physicality, strength, height and excellent heading ability are pre requisites (all the attributes Davies lacks). You cannot have a player that lacks in these areas in a back four, because the two are covering more space than the three both on the ground AND in the air. Our four has the additional problem that Egan himself is not one of these monsters either; he's a shortish guy lacking in the physical department. He's better in these areas than most people with his body type, but NOT a natural when it comes to that stuff. In a back three for United he was outstanding; in a back three for Brentford they were happy to see him go to United. Enough said.
Fitness is a huge issue at United. Maybe the biggest and for me heads should roll. The pre season was amateur hour and in the space of 12-18 months we've gone from arguably the fittest team in England to arguably the least fittest. We're a disgrace. These guys aren't capable of playing three, nay, even two games a week at the required intensity of Championship football players. That's the long and the short of it. These are the patterns you will see: one half maximum is played at the requisite intensity, unless we have a one game week in which case you may get two. They either phone in the first half or phone in the second. At Millwall it was the first; yesterday it was the second. I agree Mousset has been a disgrace. He's first hour or lst thirty mins, nothing more until his conditioning is worked on. Maybe we should take him out and work on him and bring him back in the new year? Or do you just accept he is what he is and use him as an impact player?

It's no surprise that these shocking errors continually happen in the second half of games when we're cooked. Stevens has been rushed back from injury six weeks early. At Barnsley he spent the last 35 minutes of the match playing centre back because his legs had gone and the manager didn't sub him off despite him not engaging his wide player. Yesterday, we decimated the left side when he put Didzy in front of Stevens whilst taking our only legs off (Osborn). Until these lads can get fitter, the manager has to have a plan from the bench to increase the basic physical levels required in any football team. If we don't have any midfielders in the squad he has to look at the U23s to the likes of Slater who made a bit of a name for himself as a defensive, grafter type. If not, teams will continue to run all over us. The other option is to pack the midfield with numbers (the more bodies the less running required).

And if he doesn't want to sign such a deal because it may hinder his personal progress, what next?

He has just under three years on his present contract and has played about half a dozen games with varying success.

Let's wait until the end of this season and see what develops and not throw new contracts about like there's no tomorrow.

He's already head and shoulders above anyone in the current squad in terms of talent and ceiling; that much is obvious. If he doesn't want to sign then it's already too late. The club website states 2014 which would be two years in May. When the final year begins it is already too late. When they enter the final two years you aren't getting top dollar. Once the bids start coming in he either will refuse to sign, or the terms of the extension will be much higher. Decision time.

There have been rumours over the last few years about drinking. Some of them luck like they've been on benders.

I don’t know where he learned how to press like he does. But his off the ball work is second to non.

We should invest time in playing N'Diaye properly as a centre forward. He showed at the end of last season he can flourish there.

None of this support stuff. Get him up front and let's his tricks be the one beating the last defender rather than just in midfield.

From a neutral perspective he needs to move on to progress his career.. some of his touches today were world class... he shouldn't be playing with Lowe, Baldock, Osborne, brewster, McBurnie etc .. he's a class above them all

I hope one of the Watford lot remembered to get Cleverley from Ndiaye's back pocket. We're doing a disservice to him making him play with some of these players

How much???

Seriously, he looked really good. Champagneblade is right I think. you have to have your brightest attacking threats in the most threatening positions. If the others aren't doing it, fuck them off to the bench.

He's got graft in him too which is seen as a defensive trait but actually so important for turning it over for you high up. Can't waste him

The stage and club size is fine. They shouldn't be playing with him. Someone like Pep could turn him into a world beater.

Basically we had one decent outfield player tonight in Ndiaye and he ain't gonna stay here to carry the other 9 duffers
