Nike bought Umbro in 2007, decided to sell it in 2012, so hand picked the contracts they wanted like Man City, Everton, England and a few other international sides, then sold Umbro off again to an American firm. First chance Everton got they dumped Nike and went back to new Umbro.
Cheers didn't know that. Always liked umbro but I do like Nike sports kit and trainers though their footy kits do let them down.

all a matter of taste
when we get promoted will become a classic
northampton went up under chris in a pink ensemble
at least weve got a blood orange

It's fine, don't see the problem with it. Overall much better than last season on both kits.

Not a great shirt really. It's plain on the back too.

Kin el, with that splurge and mismatch of colours McNulty's going to look a reyt plonka with his new hairdo thrown in

With Fleetwood playing in red, might it make its first appearance of the season?

Stay tuned...

White or Yellow. That's it. Sod the luminous shit. The original one is a classic, all attempts at recreating it have been toss. The Le Coq one with black sleeves was 'ok'

For me, the better version of the white kit in "recent" years was the white shirt with a single black stripe down each arm.....I've a feeling it was made by CoqSportif??? and we wore it at that play-off final v Palace that we... (spoiler alert)... lost

I've only just noticed it had a miniature version of the badge, though I prefer the circular one to a shield, I think that one looks very nice AND its B&W, I like it when they change the badge colours to match the kit - BUT not so much as the brown and yellow striped one in which the White Rose of Yorkshire became the Yellow Rose of Texas.

Yes, it was LCS.

Why do we always have to come up with a totally new shirt? Appreciate copyright may have a lot to do with it but from a fans point of view recreating a 70s/80s classic away shirt would go down a bomb. I've bought the latest away kit more out of habit and for my collection despite it being nothing special whatsoever

The yellow and brown kit from the fourth division days is still to be surpassed imo. It was a superb away kit. The next best was the all yellow kit which we wore mid 80s (i think there is footage knocking about of Utd wearing it when we won away at pompey 2 - 1 on the last game of the season 86??) The white wards kit comes in 3rd place for me for. The current away kit isnt bad but for me Utds away should be the 81 away or mainly yellow with red or white trim.
