A little nervous, more excited. My 3rd final. Hoping its third time lucky.
What happens to the trophy if we win?

Could we display it somewhere for future generations to learn lessons. "It took us 100 years, but we won SOMETHING at Wembley".

I am nervous and sway between optimism and pessimism. Try to convince myself that If we turn up and play to our best then we win (barring a freak goal / var horror).

Just want to see us win at Wembley. Aside from the Hull game, we have had fuck all to cheer at Cardiff / Wembley / old Trafford.

Let’s face it we aren’t going to win the Premier league or FA Cup - probably in my lifetime, so winning the Champ play off final at Wembley would be fucking amazing.

Always nervous supporting my club!

Nice to see some getting some slight digs in about the club just before a huge game. I know blades on Saturday will be supporting the lads 👏

The only thing that will make me nervous is the starting line up if Wilder does something stupid like revert back to 4231 after the 442 has been working, or a daft red card at 0-0 or at 0-1.

This is the most relaxed and confident I've been going into the play off final.

Every time I think about the outcome of winning in regards to getting promoted, I feel calm about it, because I CBA with another year of VAR every game, shit pundits, less games and probably getting thrashed every other week

Every time I think about the idea of us potentially scoring in a play off final, winning at wembley for the first time in 100 years, finally winning a big game in a neutral ground and what all this would do for Wilder's legacy as our manager, my stomach does fucking somersaults

Nailed it for me

It’s feels different this time.

I don’t feel nervous at all.

I just feel we’ll turn up and enough of our players will be on it to get the job done.

None. I can’t envisage a situation where we lose the game.

We gained 16 more points than them over a 46 game season for a reason.

If they're spending big, I don't want Wilder in charge. If it's a new venture, make it a fresh one.

The football is turgid a lot of the time
That would make the new owners popular among fans.

Who'd you get in after sacking Wilder?

If you we get promoted then we need to get rid of 3/4 of the squad and spend big if want to actually stay up- If we don’t/won’t, what’s the point? its gonna be another big rebuild- this will be true reflection of our new owners ambition. This has to be the beginning of something new-the new SUFC
How on earth do you get rid of 3/4 of the squad and rebuild in one summer
From jun to Aug that's 2 months
To get rid of players under contract at Premier League wages

Tell them all they are not good enough and you are selling them and then what if they don't want to.go.or you can't shift them. ?

We haven't even been pro.oted yet and already the level of entitlement is shining through
I'm not sure we deserve this promotion our fanbase has gone

I am nervous about getting my fucking ticket.

Match less so. Would love us to have a win at Wembley. I have only ever seen and celebrated Corks goal. If we lose it will be another badge we wear with stoic pride. It's the Blades way, however I think we might win.

Not in terms of the other finals. They mean absolutely nothing at all to this one.
It is 'Sheffield United' going, but different players and manager to before, so zero link to the others.
Big points and result difference to 4th place Sunderland too.
My only nerves are the same as any other big game. This is the big one, so some nervous excitement about the outcome because of what it means.

Earlier in the season, I was saying to the Mrs., "If we don't make the automatic places, I would fancy our chances in the play-offs with this team".

Then we had the blip, and we lost out on top two, and some nerves started creeping in.

The nerves are not for wanting to get promoted to the Premier League. We've been there, done that, and know that getting up and actually staying up is incredibly difficult, although the money always comes in handy.

The nerves I have is for the players, for the club, being able to win at Wembley and say "see, we were not in a false position, we were a top three team this season" To get this far and then fall at the final hurdle, we all know how much that hurts. I just want us to get the result for the sake of getting the result.

Something is telling we will lose, I can picture the media creaming themselves over Sunderland. Just don't feel confident at all, don’t know if its down to the late winner by Sunderland against Coventry or their pacey forwards or the fact VAR is going to be in operation.

I keep hearing about their 'pacey forwards'. They've scored a total of 8 goals from fast breaks this season. Just one more than us.
