No time for the fanbase the get rattled, games are coming thick and fast and plenty of time for twists and turns yet.

Need to see Clark at LCB and I’d look to drop Lowe who looks miles off it - how far away is RND? Probably stick Coulibaly in at LCM as well.

It’s within our gift to get back on track, but we need to make a few tweaks now. Over to you Hecky.

We changed the side from Wednesday and may as well have not shown up the first half.

I don’t think more changes are required, but Ndiaye needs to be starting and the defence need to fucking wake up.

Got to be much stronger in the middle of the pitch. We lost so many tackles & second balls in that first half, it was criminal. Reminded me of the premier league relegation season with how we just surrendered possession & allowed them to run at our defenders.

Significantly better second half, but defensively appalling. Fair fucks to Milwall, they played well & did a proper number on us for 45 minutes.

Don’t think we need wholesale changes, but the side HAVE to be willing to get fucking stuck in & compete for the ball. I don’t think Berge is the man for that particular job so I’d like to see someone come in for him that’s not called Ben Osborn.

Coulibaly's debut was something to build on, but not sure he'll get the chance. With most players fit we have a lot of options there now, but they are all a bit neat, lacking in aggression and athleticism.

This. He should have been given some game time today to get match fitness back up. He's the best header of the ball in the defence imo. Some time against the Wall would have been ideal. Doubt he will start against Watford due to lack of game time. For the run in we need a back five capable of defending, we've conceded 6 in 2 games that is concerning. Both wing backs are good going forward but poor in picking up runners. Anel had a rest today but he's got to be a shoe in for Watford. Baldock and RND can't come back soon enough.

Agree about RND and Baldock

Lowe is not good enough imo and Bogle is not an effective defender and a bit of a luxury

I wouldn't drop Bogle offensively he is very good and it's our left side that gets exposed time and again. Definitely would drop Lowe. Started season well. But very poor last two games. Would like to see Clark back. The backline against Millwall at the Lane Clark Egan Anel. They didn't get a sniff.

Aye, Clark will make a huge difference if he can stay fit, RND will when he returns, and I'd agree there's a decent shout to get George back in, and try Coulibaly. At least we have some options, we just need to actually bastard well defend and get a challenge in.

Sander's becoming unplayable and I don't mean in a good way. He's like a fine art student in a Sunday League side, feyly swaggering about and humming the Cocteau Twins. GERRA FUCKING CHALLENGE IN!!

Where are we going to get aggression and athleticism , who is going to supply it? They are two commodities we have been sadly lacking for years.

A weeks rest will be good to get their heads straight.
Whoever is responsible for motivating this group is not doing a very good job of it.

Clark needs to come in. I think we have to persist with the three in the middle as the only time our midfield has looked convincing at any time this season has been with those three in the middle. Lowe is nowhere near two or three games a week. I'm grateful he's at least not got broken today.

I'd be tempted to get Ndiaye, Jebbo and Mcburnie in the same side. In for a penny, in for a pound.

Play your best players. Simple really. Don't keep playing the worst squad players like Bash, Osborn and JLT. Dont let Norwood chat shit about the opposition before the game. Very very basic things.

If you can give me 1 reason why coulibaly should not be in front of Ben Osborn as a choice in centre midfield you're a better man than me.

And you can't use the words energetic, busy or puts himself about. Genuine football reasons only.

Can Robinson play LB? I miss the sight of full backs sending their opponents flying into the hoardings.

egan definetly needs dropping hes been poor for weeks now as has berge who also needs dropping these 2 cannot keep putting these awful performances in and get picked week in week out
Egan had is worst performance for us but to drop him are you kidding who do put there ?

Baldock? (when he’s fit).
But you lose a bit of quality in some of the crossing and decision-making at the top end.

I think we got the first part right playing two out and out strikers instead of 1 striker+ Ndiaye

But then proceeded to dropNdiaye completely.

Ndiaye in midfield anyone? can get up and down the field quickly, nipping at opponents ankles taking the ball off them.

Norwood and McAtee other midfielders, with Berge dropped completely to impact sub... at best.

Norwood is our best midfielder without the ball. Problem is he's not good without the ball.

hecky has to do something some of these players are coasting through games the starting line up and possibly the formation needs freshening up

I'd be happier seeing something like this, though I'm loathed putting Berge in there. If Baldock was fit I'd slot him in at right back and swap Berge for Bogle. It would never happen though. Man I miss Norrington-Davies.

This would never happen in a million years. We all like playing fantasy football.

I would swap Doyle for Osborn or Coulibaly, but otherwise that's the formation I'd go with for the rest of the season.

Robinson has served his stint in the team. He's done well but now it's time for him to sit it out for a while until Clark gets injured again

When Baldock is back he should replace Lowe at LWB for any tough game

Fleck might even need to go back into midfield because Doyle gets less convincing every time he plays and is clearly struggling physically for some mysterious reason

Could Hecky not think of something radical, like you know, changing formation and playing 4 at the back rather than 5? Lots of other teams can do it successfully including the 2 who have beaten us this week.
