Wanted to bring someone and it’s only letting me purchase 1 ticket per purchasing history ffs.

That's how the system works now, that's how it would work if there were 10000 more seats available.

It's all about safety.

I can see an issue with the safe standing arrising when people realise that they can still only stand in their allocated 'standing position'.

But I want to stand over there with my mate..

Cheers BL 👍, can always COUNT on a fellow Blade.

PS Can you sneak my lad in, I'm sick of hearing him whinin' about it! :D:D
UTB
Can't he just go to the ticket office with customer number and address, say that he's lost/forgotten the ticket and they'll print one for him? I'm sure that's a thing.

Bout 100-150 in the whole ground available.

Hope people remember shit like this when they complain that we don’t need to expand the stadium. How the f(_)ck are we meant to grow the fanbase when we can’t even bring people to their first match.

It’s absolutely stupid
It's always comes down to a ROI and the simple fact is we won't see that given it happens so rarely throughout the season. With limited funds where it means spending nothing in one window for a couple of thousand extra for 3-4 games a season, it’s not going to be a priority.
If the fanbase wants it, maybe more need to attend to encourage the board to see any value in the short term.

If it's anything like previous years ticket sales there actually is areas with seats together but for some reason they go on sale late. Be it they are kept for players and staff and not needed or whatever but it's clearly a issue that effects some pay on the gate choices.

Hull ST holders can buy up to 4 tickets, they do have to provide emails for the people they are buying tickets for, but they don't have to register an account or have a purchase history.

Yes I know it's because their ground is to big for them, but it shows that a system like that is allowed by SAG and works.

Half of section BU1 in Bramall lane upper haven’t been available since the match went on sale, not sure if they are reserved for some reason
That and bottom 2/3 rows of whole BU stand, section in family corner, bottom left SS, bottom right JS and I'm sure there will be plenty in safe standing back left of kop,
We do sell tickets in a strange way.

My son (a junior blade) can't go on Saturday. If I took an adult friend to the match, could he use my son's season card? (We've still got the season ticket card.)

Need to get a 80,000 seater built on Skye Edge before Wednesday beat us to it!

Yes Charlton is a high risk match for sure...

Tuckers ruckers ain't no suckers

Gary Bushell's band of Charlton fans, from the early 80s. They predated the BBC, but probably didn't have Millwaaaaal quaking in their boots.

A truly shite band. As all the Oi bands were, to be fair.

In your opinion, but thanks for sharing it anyway.

I spent a happy youth/early 20s, watching punk and Oi. The violence at some of the gigs, made early 80s football's descent into hooliganism, seem much less threatening somehow.

I, too, spent a happy time in my late teens watching and playing in punk bands. Oi was punk’s bastard offspring, a short lived abomination that didn’t have the first clue what punk was about.

Who were your favourite punk bands?

Have Charlton sold all their allocation?

As at yesterday about 1,500 have been sold of their 2,403 initial allocation.

Looks like they are bringing similar numbers to Bristol City, first home match.
That match also had good home ticket sales and had an attendance of 28,033.

This Charlton match already has much better sales, according to the ticket site close to a sell out and many of our fans leave it late in the week to buy tickets.
Looks certain this will be over 29K but due to the modest numbers on the away end will probably just fall short of 30K.

Yes.

You can either...

A) change it to an adult ticket via ticket office and pay the extra

B) risk it and send him through with the junior ticket

... they barely ever notice or care at the turnstile.
