Does it?

Literally nothing new since Friday and Maupay is in Austria and wilder in in Portugal until next week.

Nothing happens until at least next week imo.

Is Bettis on flexi time or gone part time again. At a loss to why a football club would stop functioning just because the manager is out of the country. Has he forgotten his phone, do we need to fedex it out to him?

For those sad people, like myself, Maupay trained today still for Brentford. He doesn't look too happy in the first clip but that might be just me reading too much into it!

FedEx? Bit expensive that. We're more Yodel.

Might stretch to DPD now we're Premier League.

bettis is also out in portugal as well

in the modern world doesn’t mean deals can’t be done but makes it a lot harder with the manager and chief exec away

I know you are a fine poster mate and it appears your taste in music similarly so. Saw Hawkwind on their 40th anniversary at the Academy ,Manchester and they were awesome. A year later in Bolton and Dave Brock could barely remember the lyrics and looked completely off his tits bless him. My personal fave is mebbe "Spirit of the Age" which they never do live ,summat to do with Calvert I think? "Orgone Accumulator" is up there,as is "Warriors". Hmm I could go on there are so many. Has a band morphed through the years as much as those guys I wonder. And do you know if Hillage is part of the Gong line up? Cheers.
Hillage is playing with Gong at the gig Greenwich posted. I saw them at Bush Empire a few weeks ago and I can’t recommend them highly enough. If you like 70s Gong and Fish Rising/Green etc you’ll love it. I don’t think he’ll be at the HRH gig.

I’m pretty sure I’ve seen Hawkwind doing Spirit of the Age recently. Either at the Palladium where they were backed by an orchestra (I’m fairly sure but was quite hammered that night) or at the Coronet a couple of years ago. (They did Orgone Accumulator at that gig).

In fact, rather than clog up the thread with my reminiscences I’ll start a thread on entertainment chat.

Media - "Sheffield United are close to signing Neal Maupay for a 15M fee."

Brentford's owners - "Hahaha they can wish."

Chris Wilder - *waves his wand*

Sheffield Utd - "We are delighted to announce the signing of Brentford striker Neal Maupay on a 3-year deal for an undisclosed fee."

Brentford owners - "Wtf."

Sky Sports saying no bids in for him at all tonight? They dont tend to make things up like the tabloids and had the Freeman story quite early on.

Do clubs in the top division actually bid these days?
Seems they negotiate the price first, then make the bid.

Only 3 years ....boo 😂

For a business that has selling players as it’s major source of income it makes no sense to stop just because they made a profit. Do car manufacturers refuse to sell because they made a profit that year and it might appease their glove wearing owners club who want to keep the sportster model at the end of production line ,holding up the process. Turnover, stock movement and making way for the next model. Keep working the winning formula. Invest the profits .
But they haven't refused to sell
To utilise your (bollocks) analogy should "the glove wearing owners club" flog the cherished "sportster model" for less than its worth / their valuation, particularly when the "next model" isn't even 'in production' and indeed the 'current model' appears to be very effective, indeed massively successful given th

just tried to find that Deadbat, but can't find it on Sky Sports? I've not trawled through the full days worth of stores that said on their site.

What the fuck is going on with this? I was checking the markets Villa have gone from 14/1last night into 9/2 we have gone from 1/6 to 4/11

This thread is now wrong. It should be Neal Maupay $13million. Who wants to to start that thread?

Was explaining that that on sky sports news this morning. They prepare a bid and can negotiate with player and agent and discuss fees with the club then when they've done all the working out they make an official bid.
