Wasn’t Kalvin Philips around that price and he can’t get a run out for Man City in the league matches. Definitely wouldn’t swap Illiman for the very average Philips.
He also wasn’t in the last year or his contract. £20m-£25m would be accepted in the summer if he won’t sign a new deal.

Not surprising he scored so soon after coming on, before the Spurs defence had a chance to discover quite what a handful he is. They had settled into complacency and probably didn't think the guy coming on would be any different to the player going off. By the time they found out, the ball was in the back of the net.

Whereas every player in every Championship team we play is watching out for him, teams put 3-4 players on him which is why he is finding it harder to get the goals, but it does leave others in space

we are very likely to have a number of clubs interested if we do not go up. That will result in an auction which will take his price over £30m

Seams to be getting away with any criticism today. He was very poor

He was. He's getting crowded out.
He needs to come deeper and help progress us up the field in the same way McGoldrick used to. He can run games for us but instead he's trying to win games for us every time he gets it. He needs to show more composure.

They crowded him out and it worked. Little support from midfield until Macca came on.
Lack of mobility especially in midfield is our main problem.Energetic teams like Blackburn always cause us problems. The disappointing thing is we new there main threat was on the counter and we got sucked in so early in the game.
We had no cover whatsoever and it cost us big time.
After a master class in tactics on Wednesday why go gung ho so early in the game today.A team on a run which they are on will always be dangerous we played into there hands.
2nd half we just couldn't get a grip on there mobility ! As I said lack of athletes in midfield has cost us lots of points this season and previous seasons as well.
Still in a great position ! We need more steel in midfield ! Who can provide it!

Midfield is always going to a problem- still relying on Fleck Norwood and Berge. Not mobile or fast or strong enough together. We know this from Prem season - need to have one of mcatee or Doyle or coulibaly in there instead of one of them. Only excuse today can be virus and we alseays seem to get these quick turnarounds to play Sat lunchtime away at another top team. Always going to be difficult after Wednesday and virus in camp

We've seen midfields with Berge, Norwood, Fleck - hasn't worked.
Berge, Norwood, McAtee - hasn't worked.
Doyle, Norwood, McAtee - hasn't worked.

They're not as good as we think they are. We need to tweak the shape to get an extra body in.

When you're outnumbered in midfield most games, it's difficult to get a foothold, doesn't matter how good the personal are.

It was another 'quality goal from a quality player'.

And that's why John Motson got applauded before that game.
'A quality goal from a quality player'
And that's why the commentator from that game won't.
'Max Lowe wriggling through, wriggling through and scoring. It's Iliman Ndiaye. He's only been on the pitch about 4 minutes...'

Not scored or assisted since mid-January. I've said elsewhere but I wonder if the potential transfer shenanigans have had an effect on him. Still plays the same way and works hard but seems less inclined to take chances/takes an extra touch. Teams have also sussed him out but even when he gets space or in a one-on-one he seems to slow things down.

If none of our midfields have worked how on earth have we been top two all season ?

If the "France Rumour" is true I can't see Marseille being his first destination to be fair, they are looking at a Champions League spot and can't see them taking a gamble on a player from the EFL. He could easily end up at Lyon who have plenty of cash and are having a bit of a wobble so maybe looking to invest some cash.

If we go or not 3 options really
A) Try and sign him into long term deal with add ons, sell ons etc
B) Leave it until January and assess position then
C) Sell in the summer to highest bidder with sell ons etc
