Am I the only one who admires the incredible skill Ndiaye has, the goals he scores and how out of place he can look at this level, but also remembers that he can go missing/be marked out of games by championship players.

This is the World Cup. He isn’t going to get much game time let alone go and light the whole thing up (yet).

Strange, strange way of thinking, just because a footballer who has absolutely no allegiance to the club just happens plays for the club which is his job, then wanting them to score against you're own country is utterly bizarre, wether you have any interest in international football or not, I have no interest in volleyball or hockey or rugby but if England compete in these sports it's just natural to want them to win, not sure how it's not. And anyone interested in football as everyone on here is. There's no way these people saying they don't care about England, wouldn't be cheering them on if we make the final.

Yes I have , many of them, strange bunch, all down to hating Maggie thatcher. Leave them too it, despicable set of fans. And yes I remember man utd fans singing that Ronaldo made England look shite song. Those same people would cheer England on in a world cup final though in my opinion. I literally never watch England no more but I could never want us to lose or any player score against us just because his job is to play for Sheffield united. Its there job that's it, even the legendary Billy sharp, from memory I'm pretty sure I remember him celebrating to our fans after scoring for Doncaster against us one time.

I wouldn’t be cheering England on. I couldn’t care less whether they win it or get knocked out in the group stages.

We’ve had the club v country debate many times on here but it is okay to be in the couldn’t care less camp.

Personally I will be wanting N’Diaye to have a good tournament and if that is to the detriment of England then I won’t lose any sleep over that.

I'm really torn on this. He seems a great lad, and obviously he is our best player and biggest asset by some distance. For him, I'd love him to have a stellar WC, really show the world how good he is. Sadly if he does that, I think the very best we could hope for is a lot of money in January, MAYBE with a loan back for the rest of the season.

The selfish Blade in me hopes he barely gets on the pitch and comes back to us fit and raring to go to prove that he SHOULD have played more. Then we keep him for the rest of the season and offer him a tasty new deal if we go up. Or we get a lot of money in summer.
