Been crying out for ages for players with MGW and Ndiaye's abilities. Finally, they arrive and entertain. Have an off day and this happens.

Ndiaye puts an absolute shift in. Always looking to make positive contributions when he has the ball. When they went down to 10, his tail went up and he looked like the one who might make something happen for us. Yes, he missed a sitter but how many of our strikers ever get themselves into that position? We're a better team with him in it.

Yep, all a bit frantic today but the dynamic duo both but a shift in, always difficult for flair players to open their box of tricks when it's like it was.

Neither of our two flair players were on top of their game today, but you have to give credit to Derby who did a job on them. Unfortunately we were unable to Bring wingers into the club and subsequently left with having to bring on Edna to provide some width which is required as an option due to mr Wilder leaving us with no creativity in the squad

I'd never criticise any player for trying something different and losing possession in our attacking third of the field.

It's what makes football a joy to watch and what unlocks defences.

The alternative is the turgid, stereotyped attacking threat that we have posed for the last 18 months or more.

Brooks was also very hit or miss in his short season with us (pre illness). It's what all youngsters go through. If he was brilliant every game he'd probably be gone by January anyway
