Put it this way- totally happy for him to start ahead of McBurnie next match.

McBurnie input today...

1 good touch
1 neat control
1 missed open net
3 weak challenges

He's F****** dire- the kop chanting his song is embarrassing- its just plain simple he's useless.

Not a great performance , got away with one really- but take the win.

He gave away the ball four times - the first of note he ran 60 yards and tackled the person with the ball. The next two times, he ran 10-20 yards and got the ball back. The fourth time he came off not long after, knackered. Can't believe this thread exists.

You actually watched the game, always a good idea before posting on it.

Really? You are either a WUM or know nothing about football. What nonsense.

I like winding people up but there is truth to what I’m saying

Lad was fantastic against pboro and has looked great recently was a very strange performance today every he tried went wrong however that is better than not trying

So are you retracting your statement that his was the worst performance you've seen in years?

After a season of watching everybody shrink and shy away from the ball, ill take a young lad brave enough to want it and it sometimes going wrong.

Out of interest, why do you like winding people up? And what do you think that might say about you?

I'm surprised you have to offer an alternative - just another of the best WUM's on the site.

There should be a post dedicated to the best WUM on the site - can think of 3 or 4 good ones without much thought at all.

I ain’t slagging the lad off it just wasmt his day

However he was truly awful and one of the worst performances I’ve seen in years at the lane

Just merely pointing out there would be 60 page threads saying brewster & Mcburnie should be sent to the gulag and contract terminated
Absolute insanity. He's 21 years old, played 99 percent of his career in the youth teams. Probably our best youth talent in years, tried playing good stuff today, not everything came off but considering he's literally played a handful of first team football he was decent. I expect he'll be up and down as he's still finding his feet in first team football.

Yep, when he did lose it he grafted hard to get the ball back and stop them on the counter.

When we play him and MGW they are always on the opposition's defenders minds, and draw players attention off the ball and more so on the ball, freeing up space for your Norwood and flecks, even if they have poor games they still have a big effect on the opposition by just being there.
To add with Ndiaye, yes he lost it a few times but near enough every time he tried and often succeeded to shut down the possession.

I tell you what

one of the most bizarre and moronic statements I’ve seen in years on S2 4SU… and that takes some beating!!!

And there’s the point you were trying to make.
This is going to happen and fans need to understand young players will be inconsistent and fade in and out of matches. If we’re looking for Ndiaye to play every week and take sides apart you’re going to be hugely disappointed. Remember Slav wanted another 2 in those positions behind the front man.

There are far too many on here who have a falsely inflated opinion of themselves who feel they have to say something controversial in order to get the attention they crave, just like FFB here. It's just the same as them starting every post with "Take no notice of me I am a fucking idiot".

Been crying out for ages for players with MGW and Ndiaye's abilities. Finally, they arrive and entertain. Have an off day and this happens.

Ndiaye puts an absolute shift in. Always looking to make positive contributions when he has the ball. When they went down to 10, his tail went up and he looked like the one who might make something happen for us. Yes, he missed a sitter but how many of our strikers ever get themselves into that position? We're a better team with him in it.

Was alot worse but the kid and that's the big word KID has so much to learn an he will be a talent and someone we need to look after.

I wouldn't have said "a lot worse."

MGW 7/10, Ndiaye 6/10.

Ndiaye doesn't seem to have the same free roaming role that MGW does. He has to operate in tighter spaces further up the pitch a lot of the time. When he gets it facing goal with space he's excellent.

Best bit of play of the game, MGW looks up and sees he's one on one with their left back. A couple of step overs, round him, zips it in. Class.
