Yes, I did initially hesitate when writing that post. But Illiman would be set for life wherever he goes, and it would be sad to see him leave the Premier league just on the cusp of outgrowing Everton.
Typical money grabbing footballer, no different to rest of them unfortunately.
Who in their right mind goes to Saudi Arabia?
No exposure no adoration.......
Just bags of money
Sad innit really 😞

A few

What you on about ???
We are scrounging about for a few grand ?
Ultimately this will be swallowed up by the owners so it will have Zero impact on your life .......move on ffs
I am shocked an appalled to hear a football club and it’s actions have zero impact on my life.

A ‘Few grand’? 1% of £75m is £750,000, or the cost of the wages of a loan for a season.

When you get to my age mate you will realise that a multi million pound company inheriting £750 grand ...Will have little to zero impact on your life .
Might be enough to paint a stand or improve the bogs ...

Dumbasses Marseille eh, that saga where he left us to play for the dream club was so annoying, was one of my fave players to watch wearing the shirt.

Stands painted and bogs refurbished already !!

Ndiaye has a game plan to go to Saudi for two years, max out his earnings on mega tax free money, then when his contract is up, come back on a free and play for Billy Sharp's Blades, dusting off the video that they'd made before he went to Marseille.

Ndiaye had a dream

Oscar went to China and everyone moaned saying he was wasting his career etc...he was on £20m+ a year for 6 years of that spell...that's generational wealth for his entire family for generations to come.

If you were a chef working in a Michelin star restaurant and Greggs offered you £20m a year to make steak bakes you wouldn't think twice.

People always bang on about footballers being people as well...that sort of money changes not only your life but the lives of your parents, siblings (Iliman has 8), children, grandchildren...for generations...genuine generational wealth.

Anyone would be absolutely mad to turn it down, especially a lad who was playing for Boreham Wood only 7 years ago

He’s 26, will do his 2 years tax free and earn generational wealth. Come back to the Prem at 28 in his prime.

GLTTL.
He doesn't strike me as being someone particularly money motivated - obviously within reason. That said, everyone has their price, and Ndiaye has a young family so who knows.

Ndiaye is apparently on about £50k a week at Everton.
After tax, that's around £1.5m a year.
A 4 year deal on that money nets off at £6m.

Al-Hilal will allegedly pay him £270k a week (or more).
That's £14m a year. 4 year deal = £56m.

All this 'set for life' bollocks is meaningless. He has kids. They'll have kids.

This stuff matters, rich or not.

Living in a country to see high poverty and the poor being treated badly. Not for me.
