In my era, Brian dean without a doubt, but he played in his prime (more or less) for us. For the players in the twilight of their careers, Gordon Cowans.

Stuart McCall was twilight and made the crucial difference in 02 03, moulding Tonge, Montgomery, Ndlovu and Brown into a real good midfield.

Speed struck a master stroke in getting Reid to drop two leagues to re ignite reids career.

Reid only dropped down one level. We were in the Championship back then (2010).

Lovely player to watch. 100% commitment and a wonderful touch. Fast, breaking drives from the midfield, that would split opposing defences.

Went and sold him to fucking Southampton, for next to nothing. He went and played for Soton for the next 8 seasons.
