I'd rather him go on a season long loan and get a full season under his belt.

i agree, would much perfer him to be loaned out than just selling him straight away. In the appearances that he's made he's looked good, if mostly tired, a full starting ine-up season could help him to bring his fitness up to scratch.

Then after the loan, see how he has progressed and then take a view.

And also maybe improve his shooting MAQ ;)

From what i've seen of him out of the first team, its not his shooting thats the issue. It's just his shooting during a first team match (nerves?) :)

Ha ha,

Remember the Watford game fella?? Oh how I thought we wouldn't get anything from the game. There was 3 glorious chances for Nade. But it was eventually decided with an offside Webber goal :D

Nade has shown great potential, but I think he needs a full season of playing, and I don't believe he will get that with us.

Yup, remember his goals/shots in the reserves? His goal against Arsenal humiliating a world class defender and a world class keeper?

He's not set the world alight, but he's convinced me he's got loads of potential and offers something different to all of our other strikers. He certainly can shoot, okay he's missed a few chances, but who hasn't?

I say keep him.

As do I, BUT send hiim out on loan :D

Not if he's to play against us :)

Championship defences won't have a clue how to cope with him, just like a few Prem ones didn't last year (albeit didn't result in him scoring many).

i f he was to go out on loan, hypertheticly (sp), do you think that he would be better at another championship side, or alternatively at a league one side?

im just wondering, being as raw as he is, if he would be better off with maye a 6 month loan to say donny rovers, then assess where he is, and then maybe a final 6 month loan to a championship side if he proves that league one just isnt testing him.

If he did go to league one and as a result was banging them in left right and centre week in week out its not like it would be a bad thing for his confidence.

What do you think?

I agree we should hang on to him.

Decent player Nade plus i think him and the likes of Shelton could do some damage in this division.

What I'm saying is though, with the competition for places, do you honestly seeing them starting many games this season?

Probably but not but we cant bank on Hulse to get back to scoring ways as soon as he comes back from injury. Stead will bag a few goals and so will Webber if he stays at a guess. Although I certainly think if Hulse wont be back for the start of the season Shelton and Nade have every chance of getting some games and doing well.

Do you not think it will be starting with Stead and Sharp though (SAS :D)

Shelton and Sharp

Nade and Sharp

Webber and Sharp

Hulse and Sharp

Horsefield and Sharp

Terrible, terrible, terrible, TERRIBLE decision if Nade if allowed to go, that boy has some real potential, the fact that Horse is being kept over Nade makes me feel sick.

It will be another Billy Sharp if we let Nade go, mark my words.

Webber and Horse can go, Nade wouldl cause more damage than both of those next season.

Probably, but that still leaves at least one striker on the bench to come on later in the match. And if SAS don't work well together, Robbo's going to need other options.

If he's to be going out, I wouldn't send him on a full season loan, maybe just 3 months or something. But I'd prefer to see him stay and give us more options in our attack.

Im worried that Horsefield may stay since it seems he has been given a squad number.

Permission given to speak to him

Bryan Robson has confirmed reports that he has given Hull City permission to speak to Christian Nade.

The striker, who was signed on a free transfer last summer, scored three goals in 25 league appearances for United, although the majority of those were as a substitute.

Robson told www.sufc.co.uk on Friday morning: "I'm looking for a different type of striker to compliment what we have already got and Hull have come in with a good offer."

Pah. Nice one Robbo :(

Edit: Mind you, thinking about it, I think I'd rather keep Webber, if it's a choice between the two. Not Horse though. He should just fuck off.

Radio Sheff recon around £500k :(, thats a steal if he plays to half his potential.

At best he is our fifth striker behind Hulse Stead Sharp and Webber, if shelton gets off to a good start make it sixth. If I were him, I'd go. Horsefield left as our sixth striker just means he will be on the reserves bench till Xmas when we get another new one.

Maybe we'll find that it's part of a leverage deal to get Myhill in as Paddy's understudy?

I'd rather see him go out on loan. Maybe with a gentleman's agreement so that he can't play against us :D

I think he's better than Webber, and on his game he can be as good as stead.

Gutted to see him go, i'll have to have someone else on my shirt

:cry2:
