Has anyone heard the latest news on the extent of his groin strain? Paul Walker on Radio Sheffield this morning said that Murphy was to undergo tests (I assume a scan) to see if the damage was more serious than first thought.

Fingers and legs crossed.

James Shield's tweets suggest they both return by MK Dons game, which must mean the strains are not too severe. I just hope they don't re-occur as groin strains have a habit of doing that.

DW admits Jamie Murphy is "struggling a bit" ahead of Saturday's game against Oldham Athletic.

But the United manager insists Murphy and Jonathan Forte should both recover from injury "in time to face MK Dons."

Thanks for the update. Good news on injuries at last

Wouldn't hold your breath when it comes to us. Kitson was at least a month overdue past his expected return date and Howard, who was due to return in January is missing all Season

Well Alan Ball had a permanent groin strain and he played loads of games.

If it's our normal luck then Murphy will be out for the rest of the season :(
