Hecky said last week after the Dingles game that Bill would be having a scan midweek. Nothing being said, so could this be a sign that all is not well? Hope i'm wrong but the same happened after Baldock's injury where initially it was thought not too bad but turned out otherwise. Fingers crossed.

Expect a club statement today, with accompanying corner-flag-with-embroidered-club-crest image, stating Billy Sharp out for around 10 days.

I went down the lane and noticed the club shop is closed and the blades flag is at half mast and some mumblings of a day of mourning but doesn't necessarily mean anything ,anyone else made anything up today ?
Sad news. Just seen the display in Shiregreen cemetery, obviously within council regs.

Why would you ever give the opposition more information than needed?

We'll see in the next presser in a week, but i don't think it's in anyone's interest to announce anything until we need to, either way
This is the key point derfblade.3 we haven’t had a press conference. So unless Hecky is giving the media the info we don’t tend to announce anything, unless we put out a statement… which would be a bit over the top during a two week international break

It happens to us every time we have a sniff of the playoffs. We arrive with a threadbare selection of forwards to pick from.
I can understand the concerns.
History on repeat. 🙄

What's Craig Beattie doing these days?

Not sure why everyone is taking the piss. It's a legitimate concern as hes our main goalscorer.

Call me a cynic but lack of news usually isnt good, see all the radio silence on JOC
I’m not sure people aren’t concerned I know I am, but really what benefit to the club either way is advertising now if Billy is going to be fit for Stoke or not? They’re not going to make Stoke’s preparations easier by telling them if they need to account for Billy leading the line or McB.

Will Burke be available if we make the Play Offs?

He walked off, feeling it wasn't right as opposed to with it having gone or anything. And I don't think we'd happily let him go straight off on hols if we were massively concerned. Hopefully a bit like Fleck's. Come back refreshed after some rest and sun, see where we're at and get back fit for the run in, happy days.
