Salah misses loads of sitters to be fair. Scores some great goals but misses the easy ones a lot.

Conversely I think everybody is confusing the term “finisher” with “striker”. He’s clearly not the best striker in the league but trust doesn’t mean he can’t be one of the best finishers.

A good striker is someone who has all the usual attributes of a top footballer: pace, aggression, movement etc but with the added ability to hit a powerful and accurate shot or header. That's a 'striker'.

These are all process-related attributes, ones that if you produce them consistently will get you a positive end result, be that a goal, assist, rebound, corner etc.

A finisher, is someone who, when receiving the ball close to goal (or sometimes not even close), will apply whatever touch is necessary to end up in the back of the net. In essence it's a passing accuracy like a midfielder, except this time you're playing it to the goal.

A finisher is usually a striker, and a striker should be a good finisher, but the pure art of finishing is something that can be understood on it's own, and it's most certainly something our Billy is.

Other examples: Bergkamp, Crespo

Always thought Edwards was a lazy individual, not a team player. Had it not been for Colin Morris' brilliance, he wouldn't have scored as many for us. Knew where the back of the net was though, I'll give him that.

I’m not or I could’ve listed another 20 off the top of my head. He’s not kicked a ball yet. It’s a completely different standard to what he’s played before. To say he’s the 3rd best finisher in a league he’s never played in is absolutely fucking crazy.
