Update. As stated previously the interest in Mousset was strong, appears things have moved quickly there. On Maupay, whatever these Brentford fans may say, the fee is agreed with Brentford and he is free to talk to the club and others, it’s a waiting game and his agent is doing what agents do, playing one club off against another for the best deal for the player and himself. The interest in McBurnie is very, very serious and it’s hoped a deal will be reached. Osborn isn’t far off at all. Henderson is sorted absolutely nothing to worry about. It also appears the Prince would like Wilder to sign a big foreign name. So with all the above, it appears we might be splashing more cash than anyone anticipated.

Maybe we have? I noticed we’d signed a couple of kids from foreign academies and I wondered if we were taking the first steps towards setting up a foreign scouting network. We may now have a couple of scouts or agents that we trust and are comfortable dealing with.

You don’t. Had I been there throughout I would have noticed a few indications of direction of travel. I wasn’t. I did pay particular attention to closing arguments, but only through the Star live coverage, which frankly I thought unimpressive on both sides. Based on the judicial observations at that stage I would be 5/6 on the favourite, but I wouldn’t have a Nixon on it...

The respective legal teams will have a view as to the likely result though. It will likely be the same view too.
