My theory is the staff were told to vacate earlier because of the third signing. They knew that it wouldn't be ready to be unveiled tonight so couldn't risk it leaking to the media.

They wouldn't have sent everybody out only to announce Jagielka a couple of hours later. Absolutely no point in that

Also, why didn't Richard Cadette say somat when he was on telling us Jags had signed?

The I's aren't dotted yet but the T's are crossed.

I think someone's in tomorrow.

Another reason for the delay is they didn't want to do a double signing. They wanted Jags to get his moment.
