Let’s just hope he wants to play football ! Good chance of playing most weeks for us but will be used mainly from the bench you would think for Leicester! Hopefully he’s up for a challenge and if he chooses Leicester then he wasn’t the right fit for us anyway ! Would really like him to take up the challenge at BDTBL though !
As ever UTB!!

Looking at Leicester’s squad, I reckon Rodriguez would possibly play a fair bit (assuming they don’t sign another striker).

Other than Vardy, the Strikers haven’t really set the world alight and Vardy is now 32 so probably will start to feature less and less regularly.

No, Derek and Walter are the types who sit down for penalties whose sole purpose is to crush unpositivity on a football forum...
Are they so depressed that they moan about a forum they’re perfectly free to leave, but also need to create their own new words, because they’ve worn all the synonyms for negative out? You know, a bit like the eskimos did with snow?

Razor sharp response that, Derek. And not at all belated, baseless or pointless.

2 months to go as well

Only just seen it Walter, but you do need to learn to not take life quite so seriously.
Maybe it’s an age thing, but we all want to see some signings, we’re just not going to flounce about and make up stories if we don’t announce them all before anyone else. Maybe we’re just more realistic about where we are as a club, or maybe more experienced about how these things go. Maybe we are nothing more than clappers, but do you think your continual unpositivity helps anyone even a slight little bit?
It’s a shame because you seem to be incredibly passionate and well informed about potential signings, but your strops and temper tantrums are too amusing not to highlight.
If it helps I can tell you that at the end of this window you won’t be happy with the signings and think we’ve missed out on lots of players because we’re incompetent and we’re certain to go down.
If I’m wrong I’ll be glad to be so, but I don’t think I will be.
I genuinely enjoy reading your posts on players even if I don’t agree, as I’m ignorant to lots of it and learn a few things. Please don’t take your ball home because of all of us Walters and Dereks on here, but we are always going to laugh at you if you’re being a bit of a tit.

I'm sorry...... what have I done?

If you're seriously attempting to single me out as a negative poster that's laughable. Wake up and start reading what's there and not what you want to be there.

Saying some of the things you have there based on so little just typifies the sort of poster on here I was joking about.

You’ve not done anything at all, I just see you as a bit of a hormonal grump if things don’t go your way and you make me laugh. I wouldn’t say your overly negative but I think on transfers you will think we’ve not done what you wanted.
Glad I fit one of your stereotypes and I’ll keep posting memes or pictures when you have a flounce and I may even get a few likes, but no real offence is meant, it’s just clearly amusing to some of us. I’m guessing those of a similar age and outlook.

No, come on. I must have done something.

"Continual unpositivity" .......... (Now 'not overly negative', mysteriously)
"Strops and tantrums"
(I say) 'United are incompetent'
"Bit of a tit"

I'm glad you padded it out with some 'I admire this' and 'I enjoy your posts' that, though. Ever so gentlemanly and classy.

The only people who say they're completely happy with a transfer window are the people like you who barely even know what they'd like, and wouldn't say anything unpositive regardless. I can guarantee you that Wilder won't be completely satisfied with our recruitment this summer.
(Sorry, almost getting back on topic here)

You and Chris are buddies then?

You arent overly negative unless you are posting on your perception of other fans or lack of transfer activity. The continual unpositively was a joke because its a nonsense word, I also used your instead of you’re but hey ho.
I do enjoy reading your comments on players, nothing contrived or fake there, but you do flounce and strop about and it makes me laugh.

I agree Wilder won’t be satisfied, but he won’t be moaning about it on here and saying how incompetent we are.
I’ll let you get back on topic while I trawl some Memes in readiness in order to score easy likes.

We'll be lucky to get any of our first choice targets I suspect, given what we're up against, especially with Wilder aiming high as usual.

Go and show me where I've called the current regime incompetent or don't make that accusation in the first place.

Feel free to inbox me next time, to spare everyone else of this garbage.

But how will I get likes to sure up my fragile self esteem?

Incidentally this forum tends to be a bit irrelevant and regularly goes off topic, so anyone is going to have a struggle on their hands if they try to sanitise or Marshall it into something it isn’t. Another 20 or so pages and it’ll be open season for boob pictures.
It is what it is I’m afraid.

From one of the posts further up, I quite like the idea of Robinson, Watkins and Brownhill.

You'd have good movement and adaptability in the forwards you'd have a midfielder who would fit nicely in a flat 3 on the right or potentially further forward.

All would increase their resale value with top level exposure but crucially none of them are such 'big time' players that you couldn't imagine them forming part of a team to mount a promotion push should we not stay up.

I can of course see the attraction to Rodriguez and at 5m you would argue getting your money back would not be unexpected.

I don't see Maupay as an option as I think his valuation will just hit the 20m mark with Villa fans and, given Abraham will stay at Chelsea, there is an obvious vacancy there.

We seem 50/50 with McBurnie which I see as more realistic but I can see him going there, especially with his former manager in place and as going for Robinson as back up option, which may well turn out for the best, who knows?

It would add to the spirit of having more international teammates. Maybe Connell could also be attained.

Connell as LWB and Fleck competition. Brownhill as an alternative to Duffy. Watkins and Robinson to complement Sharp and then Hendo on loan. Add perhaps the younger players in Eastwood as 3rd choice keeper, perhaps Norrington-Davies, Slater and Smith - I'd rather we have a few home grown youngsters than a player signed just for the sake of it, and maximise the budget for first team starters.

Just needs competition for Bash and maybe one more.

As long as we are in place by the first game then no need to panic.

But only on a Friday. When Ryan Leonard is mentioned. (Just putting out there so easier to bump on Friday).

We don’t want players who can complement, add competition or be alternatives. Such thinking serves only to prepare for relegation.

We need quality additions who are significantly better than what we have and who will be undisputed first-choice players. You cant build a Premier League team around Sharp and Duffy.

We need additions to improve on the first team for sure but we don’t have the budget to add 5/6/7 guaranteed starters. More like 2/3.

It’s a squad game and if we can replace the likes of wright, leon, cranie & coutts with upgrades to push the first team and improve the overall quality of the 25. That’s a decent start imo.

I'm comfortable we have something already sorted to cover Coutts and Cranie (possibly others)
given that most of us would've kept them
for at least a year. I know we can only name 25 players well nobody actually uses that many players (Man City 21 used, Wolves only named 19) so keeping those 2 who would've been useful cover and would not have impacted massively on the squad.

The thing is players of that age need to play regularly as Wilder told us regarding Coutts, they were all bit part players last season and that obviously doesn't suit.
Coutts will be looking for a two year contract as the others will ,no way was Wilder going to offer that.
I'm sure they will get fixed up as they all are good pro's

bookmarked ;)

Don’t know, just know you’re going off that bad photoshop ‘leak’ :)
Could be Bournemouth but it’d just be a lucky guess by the guy who’s made it

It is Bournemouth.

Citeh at home last game of the season.

Happy to apologise tomorrow if I'm wrong...

....but I'm not.
