There are dozens of players who would fit that description. Shall we offer them all coaching positions?

We all know it’s embarrassing, nauseating Bladey Claptrap but very few of us are prepared to expose it as such. I’ll ask him about his coaching credentials when he comes to see me for a proper interview.
My reply is as my post above. Forgot to put your post before the reply.
I don’t, but I’d find out a few things beyond ‘he used to play for us’ before appointing a coach. It’s quite an important role you know, not a retirement present.

I say again: Chris Fucking Nowt-Fancy Morgan.
I wasn`t suggesting I wanted him in that capacity, just that I didn`t see him playing too much and thought perhaps he might contribute in other ways. We now know that CW wants him as a squad player with a good influence in the dressing room, and probably some useful first hand knowledge of some of the players we will be up against.

His only visit in twelve years, by invitation. Never once voluntarily, unlike Kyle Walker and Harry Maguire.

Are you suggesting that we need anyone that comes through the club to continue frequenting the club to prove their United credentials? Because that’s about as Bladey Blades as you can get. Big Bladey Blades in fact.

Oh I will have, just not in a way that suits you mate. I’m certainly not going back to look at it. Do remind me?

By the way, I’ve never relegated us and failed to explain it. I have no questions to answer.

You certainly haven't. I asked what qualifies someone to be a coach. You said 'a multiplicity of qualities' (a politicians answers if ever there was one). I asked you to name the qualities that you were referring to?

Whilst you're listing them can you also point out which ones Jagielka doesn't possess?

As an aside note, Jagielka has watched us on several occasions since he left us. Just because you haven't become aware of it doesn't mean it didn't happen.

There are several threads about Jagielka. Any chance you lot could post on one of those instead of clogging up the only interesting thread in the rumours section? I doubt I’m the only one who keeps opening the thread hoping for an update and instead finding exactly the same conversation that’s already on a number of other threads.

Jags turned up to the 125 dinner in 2014 at Ponds Forge also. Wether Kev has some incriminating pictures of him I don’t know.

Love this ridiculous argument a particular chap seems to have on here. I am 100% a proud Bladey Blade a few of reasons for this-

1. Our most recent success and the best football I have ever witnessed has been created by the ultimate fellow 'Bladey Blade' Chris Wilder. Born and bred Blade fan, ballboy, player, manager

2. Our most recent successful striker is again a fellow Bladey Blade - Billy Sharp. Born and bred Blades fan, ballboy, player, captain

3. Our other most successful manager in the past 20 years - Neil Warnock, born blade, fan, manager.

Appreciate what these Bladey Blades have achieved, specifically the top two because if they hadn't we wouldn't be where we are today. I don't care if Sharp starts on the bench every game next season, but I do appreciate what he's done for this club. We wouldn't be watching Premier League football without him, take away his 23 goals last season I doubt we'd have finished second.

Seeing as Robson tried to convince him to stay he quite clearly didn't leave straight away.

The no interest bit is utter tripe as well.

Stop denigrating a top professional with spurious defamatory bollocks.

I’ve said nothing defamatory whatsoever. All I’ve ever asked is that he at least explain what happened? I have never ever accused him of an improper motive. I have never thought he had so why would I claim it? There are no grounds and no evidence. Equally there was absolutely no need for him to do as he did. Why should it remain a mystery?

All I say is he was fixed up anyway, his Goodison nest was already feathered and he simply couldn’t give a toss about us. He has owed us the courtesy of an explanation for a long time. That’s all, nothing more. Others may have gone further, not me. That’s up to them. Check my back catalogue if in doubt.

If he thinks I have defamed him, let him sue. At least he’ll have to give an answer then, but he’ll find it much cheaper and more convenient to do so informally.

How professional was he on 14 May 2007? I’d like to ask him. After all, I was a Blade before he was born and it harmed my club grievously.

I’ll say what I like about him, but never libel or slander him. I never have and never will. However, I don’t respect him one jot. I used to. He was a big favourite of mine, but he badly disrespected my club twelve years ago and I’d like a long-overdue explanation. Is it too much to ask?

You know, former favourites are not beyond reproach or criticism.

This site seems to regress into Blades Mad on an alarmingly regular occurrence... a tedious cesspool or pseudonyms arguing the toss about anything and everything with other pseudonyms and snide digs about past comments. It's tiresome.

Don't say that if Curtis Woodhouse ever returns...

Never rated him. A left-footed Montgomery, but he’s done no harm to my club and continued to support the Blades. He also carved out a career in the ring and works hard at his football management. I respect and admire him. That said, if I didn’t I would not hesitate to say so. I’ve dealt with hundreds a great deal bigger and more fearsome than Curtis without it turning physical...

You paid them off?

I am a little unsure what he has to explain he made a mistake in a game of football. Do you want to him break down in tears and beg for forgiveness while performing self flagellation?

I would sooner look back at a certain Neil Warnock who actually refused to attack any team away from home. Maybe it would be better to ask Warnock rather than a player who was our best player during that season.

Pinch that's the biggest load of tripe I've seen in a while. I'm pretty sure you have at the very least inferred a connection between his action and his move to Everton. Your argument would be laughed out of court. Everyone knows what you are insinuating. Don't treat us all like mugs, please. If you just need an explanation for a mistake, then why not get the hump with the rest of the team and management?
Why not ask Danny Webber why he missed when it seemed easier to score.?
Why not ask Warnock why he took the pedal off the gas when we were 10 points clear?
To say that one particular mistake cost us relegation is just dumb, to be frank.

Again, by invitation. You lot are so desperate to defend your Bladey favourite you lose all balance and objectivity. He has something to answer for. He never has. He ought to have. That he hasn’t is grossly disrespectful to our club. That’s it.

Why didn't Deano jump to block the cross onto Mark Bright's head at Wembley? Why didn't Simon Tracey dive for Hopkins' strike 4 years later at the same place? Defeats just as painful as Wigan and I would have expected professional footballers to have done much better in both situations. Deane fucked off that close season as well. Maybe a Cup Final appearance could have convinced him to stay. I don't recall either of them being asked to grovel for forgiveness, the reason being sometimes in a split second even at the highest level, shit happens.
Anyhow, you keep calling him the Everton player while he does his best for us next season. The rest of us will back the team.

If you genuinely wanted an answer to this question that’s plagued you for 12 long years, you could take all of 5 minutes to register on Twitter and ask him directly.
