I hope you're right...but closing down should be a given in a Wilder team, his hold up play is alright but he's not what I'd regard a strong target man, I'd expect premier League centre halves to dominate him physically...and goals is debatable, he's done it for one season at Championship level. Whenever I've seen Brentford play I've hardly noticed him, he doesn't look a constant threat with a lot of pace and trickery like Che Adams does, and we'd be talking the same sort of transfer fee. There would be 2 other players at Brentford I'd be looking at before Maupay...that said, if he signs, I hope he proves me wrong.
