One man's 'can't hack it' is another man's very useful experienced head. Jags can play RB, CB and CM and also brings a wealth of experience.

Suppose the first few games don't go well and the squad start to doubt whether they are really premier level players? Jags has been there, seen it and got the designer T shirt.
Much like Jake Wright did in L1, he will add a calming presence with his vast premier experience.

He won't be on mega money and it is only one year, so IMHO it's a no brainer.

I was told a week ago that it was already a done deal, the info was from a big Wendy fan that goes in my local, told me he had a relation who was a friend of Jags.

So at the time not that believable.

Only one year may be all any of them get at this level if we can’t compete.

Really hope it works out - you’d be crazy not to.

But I’m hoping that this is a peripheral signing with some marquee ones to come.

I reckon the other player is Ravel... Don't think anything will be announced on him yet but they may have took the opportunity to get a pic of him in a shirt if they think a deal is likely at some stage in the near future.
