Surprised there’s no RWB on that list though.

No 1 target is Neal Maupay. Initial interest in Kalvin Philips, Joe Allen ( in last year of contract ) and Daniel James. Although realisation it’s a big wish list. Henderson to return on loan nearly sorted, and a free transfer back up keeper to be signed. All other loanees to return to parent clubs.
And if we came down we would be stronger. And if one of the young lads cuts it and we cash in we wouldn't have lost a penny. That lot would be spot on
Basically strengthening us in each department.
Can't see it tbh, but with our squad, those signings and CW, who would bet against us stopping up?
Quite opposite for me. Maupay could be our Callum Wilson type signing. Allen is the type of midfielder we desperately need in the premier league.A bit underwhelming - Maupay will need Canas with him, Allen reminds me of lastpayday Hammond and the others unproven in PL. Disappointing we're sending back the 3 loans that coincided with the improved form to get to PL.

We need a specialist Duffy replacement. Someone good enough and clever enough to play the same role and do similar things. As near like for like as we can.
And if we can't, get two wide attackers who can play behind one central striker (eg Robinson and James / H.Wilson / Canos).
Not signing Dowell is the right decision, we need a bit more.
Not signing Madine is a difficult call, because we will need a target man. I'm sure he'll be gutted.

Cardiff will probably want at least the £6m they paid for him, which would be way too much, if it’s £2m-£3m then I’d be tempted.
My concern exactly - we need to be able to replicate the way Duffy makes our team tick. Maybe that’s what they see Allen doing - he has played further forward hasn’t he?
My worry is that Wide stackers haven’t faired well in the system we play.... We just don’t seem to be able to intergrate them and remain effective as a 3-5-2
Nathan Thomas
Harry Chapman
That Man U wide player
Marvin Johnson
Ben woodburn
Even someone as talented as Brooks rightly wasn’t a guaranteed first name of the team sheet which you’d argue given what he’s doing in the prem he should have been
Cardiff can want, but he's never worth £6m imo
Wasn’t that the Cooper fella? Is Kalvin Phillips a mate of Sharps?
We should be able to make wide attackers work. There are ways to do it and it shouldn't be beyond our coaching staff. It would help if we had decent ones to choose from - we haven't had 2 at the same time at any point.
I think it could be the way to go for us next season, with the wide CBs likely to stay back. The wide attackers would vastly reduce the need for attacking contributions from them. They'd just have to avoid getting in the way of the wing backs, which is why they should be players who have the intelligence and control to play in central areas - ideally a right footer on the left and a left footer on the right.
Agree, The intellence and control is key for me - we need technically able players that won’t waste the position we have and could play in a fluid way ( not what you might term a kick and rush ‘Marvin Johnson’ type).
However, Those type of players would be expensive to recruit, so it’s whether wilder wants to spend and significant proportion of our budget recruiting for a formation we haven’t ever played under him...
One of our strengths is our formation and system. I wouldn’t shift from that.

Never thought i'd see the day where we are actually trying to sign some of the best players in the championship. Up Chris Wilder's blayardsNo 1 target is Neal Maupay. Neil Maupay
Daniel James
Kalvin Philips
Joe Allen
Kasey Palmer (Loan)
AN Other Striker (Loan)
Be reyt happy with that.
The one that intrigues me is the substitute GK to cover for Henderson. Could it be Arthur Boruc? Considering Bournemouth played the young lad against Tottenham over him AND he's out of contract at the end of the season? Thoughts?
Only 2 loans allowed from premier league, but it's a big old world out there! If Deano is coming back on loan we can only have one more.
Boruc or maybe Westwood?

We’ve got to be looking at buying Hendo. It’s not ideal for us to be using one of our 2 loans on a keeper.
