There’s always a danger too that word gets around and journalists start coming on here for the inside information from RC, if it hasn’t happened already.

He said just after Swansea accepted bid for McBurnie that unless there was any other news ‘See you in January’. He’s been spot on with everything so far so if he doesnt post then it means there’s nothing to tell us about. If we dont sign anyone else & TBH I dont think we will,we’ve had an excellent transfer window. Above & beyond anything we expected. Think a few may leave on loan like Clarke,Evans,possibly Duffy & Lundstram. Apart from that dont think we need to worry about being glued to Sky Sports News on deadline day.

We're light in centre mid, unless Lundstram is to play a bigger part and I don't think he'll make the step up. I think we need some quality competition for Fleck and Norwood, although I expect Morrison to be in the mix too.

Update. Holgate almost done. £6m with add ons to around £8.5m. Calum Chambers coming in on loan. Arsenal don't even want us to pay any of his wages. Amartey, Chalobah and others being considered should we refuse Arsenal's charity. Negotiating with Mechelen about a fee for Verrips to avoid possible issues further down the line, expect that to be done. Alternatives should that not happen, including a German. Keeper definitely coming in. Also, considering Matt Phillips as he has a £1.5m release clause. 500 likes please and UTB.

I’d just like to claim responsibility for the McBurnie transfer.... I commented on my mates insta while he was on holiday with OMB on the 15th June asking; “Ask Oli if he’s coming to Sheffield United..... haha”
