I don't think you can compare anyone to Ronaldo. The blokes a freak of nature.I don’t blame him for the injury but his previous diet, up and down weight loss can’t do your body any good in the long term. Obviously no comparison, but look how Ronaldo looks after himself. Proper diet and training regimen. Fit as a flea at 37 and rarely out injured.
Probably not but it’s his good living and dedication I admire. I can’t imagine him in the middle of Londonio Road in Turin getting a 1200 calorie Kebab at 3am in the morning.I don't think you can compare anyone to Ronaldo. The blokes a freak of nature.
There wouldn't have been six minutes of injury time if he didn't take so long going off.Least he could have done is walked off from behind the goal , instead of using all the lousey six minutes injury time up , stretchers are available if the distance was too far .
I'm sure the club has the option of an extra year.£5 at 50/1.
He’s in the last year of his contract with us. I really do wonder where he goes after us.
I've not watched it back again but it looked like on the side slow motion camera angle that he pulled the hamstring starting his run towards the crossed ball, not when he went down (like a sprinter off the blocks)Ive got to say that his "injury" was one of the fakest Ive ever seen and wasn't unexpected. Can't have been that serious as he didn't go off at the side of the pitch or on a stretcher. He was just out of puff and is only hear to collect a wage to buy lambos. He has never completed 90 mins in England, kinda shows his work ethic doesn't it?
What good is having a player who at 20 odd years of age can not play for 90 mins ? What good is paying a player every week who can not be available for selection for two thirds of the season if not more? Personally I would get rid of ALL our so called strikers .not one of them worth the shirt just wish Billy was 10 years younger .
Watching it back the Birmingham player clips him as he’s running away from him he stumbles a bit but keeps going and eventually gets into a full sprint. When the keeper gets the ball he plants his foot and shifts his body weight to turn and immediately pulls up as if that’s when it’s goneI've not watched it back again but it looked like on the side slow motion camera angle that he pulled the hamstring starting his run towards the crossed ball, not when he went down (like a sprinter off the blocks)
Anyone else notice that or am I totally off the mark ?
Thought he was doing ok aswell up to that point.
It's a disgrace how the club has handled him, heads should roll. His conditioning is terrible but it’s up to us and him to get him right which we clearly can’t do.
It’s a disgrace how he’s handled himself 100% he’s 95% to blame for his career downfall, but I do think we could help him too. It's a disgrace how the club has handled him, heads should roll.![]()
Do you think they haven't tried? It’s a disgrace how he’s handled himself 100% he’s 95% to blame for his career downfall, but I do think we could help him too.
If he didn’t have a gut to bust I don’t think he’d have got injured. He’s an absolute waste of a shirt.Yeh he really looked like he didn’t care when he got injured busting a gut to try and get on the end of the pass to score a goal for us.
