Surely one of the most random Blades ever is former Chinese international, Hao Haidong.
The signing was more of a marketing exercise than a footballing decision. I was there for his one and only appearance in a Blades shirt v Colchester in a 3rd round cup game in 2005, which we lost because Warnock had no interest in the cup as we going for promotion, and he was clearly out of his depth.

Steve Strickland was in my year at school. Would only have been 17/18 here. Assuming it's him, he was a fantastic keeper at our age group

I once sat in the drivers seat of his soft top car, in the car park at SWD. Would have been about 1991 on an evening when I was at training (U10s football). He went in to the bar bit and was more than happy for us to sit in the car while he was out. Seemed like a nice fella
